Delicious, Inexpensive and Convenient
I've been using this pitcher for about 2 months now and it's fantastic! I used to have to go to a local spring and fill up jugs of water to bring back home because the tap water here is atrocious. They recently put a law into effect which limits how much water you can take so as to not dry up the underground springs. So I was looking into ways of getting a cheap, but effective, filtering system as an alternative. In comes this pitcher.First off, I love the design of pitcher. I do wish the lid would have stronger clasps to hold it in a little better, but I never really had any problems with it falling off like some people have stated. The handle is nice and big which allows you to have a nice sturdy grip. Even with the water in the top making it a bit top heavy, it's comfortable and easy to carry and pour. Now make sure when you do pour it, that you don't pour it before it has a chance to drain from the filter into the reservoir at the bottom otherwise you'll end up mixing the alkalized water with the tap water. It does take a few minutes (10minutes when completely empty) to pass through the filter, so just keep that in mind if you have to have water RIGHT THIS INSTANT, haha. I usually fill it up before going to bed so I have a good 2.5 liters of water for the morning into the evening. I usually end up filling it up once in the middle of the day as well, but I'm the only user of this pitcher. If you have a whole family to feed (Quench? Drink? Whatever the term is...lol) water to, then I can see how it might get a little tedious constantly filling it up.I haven't tested the actual PH level of the water, but my tap water is so terrible that the moment I tried my first glass of this water I knew there was a huge improvement. The water tastes crisp and has a great 'clean' feeling to it for lack of a better term. I never noticed the 'fishy' taste some people have, but I do notice that if the water has sat there for a while (couple of hours) at the bottom that it will have a slightly odd taste which I'm pretty sure is just the minerals settling to the bottom. I'm no water scientist ;) but once I shake the water up a little before I pour it, I don't notice that odd taste.Bottom line is the water tastes great, the build quality is pretty good, the ergonomics are great and it looks nice without taking up too much space in the fridge. If you're looking for an alternative to bottle waters or a way to escape the horrendous city tap water then this will be perfect for you :)

Good filter, terrible pitcher design
The good: This product does what it says it will do. The water is filtered, and the ph levels are bumped up. I have acid reflux, and our tap water at times is just a little too acidic for me, so this has helped bring the acid level down to where I can drink it.The bad: The plastic pitcher itself is the worst designed pitcher I have ever seen. The little bird beak pour spout is very small for the size of the pitcher, and it pours slowly. Also, because of the shape, it is easy to overfill the reservoir without noticing, because it curves down at the back. They also conveniently put a little hole right on the edge of the inside part of the lid, which allows any overflow water (or water that sloshes around when you carry it) to flow out of the reservoir, down the inside of the handle, and out onto your counter, making a big mess. We've managed to work around the shortcomings of the pitcher itself in order to use it. They have a good filter product here, all they need is a design change and you would probably see a lot more happy customers.---- Update November 2016 ----The reason for the slow pouring speed was that they didn't leave any air intake holes in the pitcher design, so when pouring it would get held in by the air pressure. We were able to resolve by drilling two small holes at the back of the pitcher, near the very top so it didn't leak water when full (put one on each side of the handle). This got rid of the issue for us, and might be helpful if anyone else has the same issue and feels like taking a drill to it.

I read many many reviews to see if any one at all had anything like this happen before I ordered the second one and ...
I ordered 1 and after a week of use the water kept turning white. I sent it back with no issues and ordered another. the other started to do teh same after a week of use this time the white was a thick powder stuck to the sides and bottom. I read many many reviews to see if any one at all had anything like this happen before I ordered the second one and found none. I have to empty it every single day and SCRUB it out and I mean scrub its hard to get this white stuff off. then the water is fine for a few hours. I like the water and the price of the pitcher was great. I see a lot of people saying silly things like the water comes out the top not the bottom well sorry common sense tells you gravity exists and if you fill the top then try to pour that will happen not the designers fault you must wait till the water has been filtered and is in the bottom of the pitcher. My friend purchased the same one and has no issues so I feel it is somehow my water causing the issue. I would have hopped it would filter out whatever is causing it but it does not. I have leukemia and I have blood tests every month, I will share with you that my alkaline levels have not risen in the months I have used this but they have fallen. I do not use it as much as I should but with the issues I only use it in the morning for about 25-30 oz Now all that said I don't know why but I fell a little better when using it then I do when not using (like on a trip)

The lid is very flimsy and doesn't close properly
I find that the cover doesn't close properly. You also have to hold the lid when pouring water otherwise it will go flying. Not sure if that's supposed to happen, but at the end of filter cycle, there's hard water built-up so I have to use vinegar to clean it otherwise it won't come out.
