Mounting a Uniweld Flow Meter plumb
Product works great with Uniweld purging flow during HVAC brazing. There is some feedback about not being able to mount the flow meter plumb, so I have included a picture. I used a 45 degree 1/4 brass Street Elbow after removing the flare fitting that comes with unit. These are available on Amazon. I remounted the flare nut on the 45 Street Elbow. It works out nice. I am able to tilt the gauges on the regulator up for easy reading and unit is plumb for accurate flow measurement.I used a wood working vise to hold the regulator while removing the output flare connection. Be careful not to damage the regulator. For fitting sealing, I have found it useful to split 1/2 Teflon tape in middle using a single edge razor blade giving you 1/4 inch width. Always wrap tape on fitting in direction of the thread using 3-4 wraps. Don't over tighten the fittings. My background is Test and Measurement and I have done design work in gas mixing systems.

FYI, max outlet pressure is only 200psi.
Seems to be a solid unit, especially for the price. Unfortunately for me, it has a maximum outlet pressure of 200 psi. For most HVAC or Automotive applications, this is probably fine. For me, I need my nitrogen supply for charging the gas shocks in my offroading rig, and 200 psi is not enough to do that. The only indication of this I saw on the listing is the outlet pressure in bar, which I did not immediately recognize as being too low for my application.

So far so good...
Seems like a quality built regulator but was lighter than expected taking out of the box. I noticed the pressure adjustment knob is a large plastic piece. For the price it's an excellent value. I use it daily in HVAC and it holds up fine to the rigors of the profession.

Right hand threaded. Didnt work for my compressed nitrogen tank but i bought different threads.
Overall its a good but gauges seems a little flimsy inside, but for the price its good.

flowrates above 200 cc/min cause pressure to drop
First one arrived damaged due to poor packaging, second one was OK. When I set this regulator at 80 psi outlet pressure on a nitrogen tank, the pressure gauge would drop to 50 psi if the flowrate was above 200 cc/min. It's a cheap regulator, so you get what you pay for. Unfortunately I need constant pressure so I'll have to purchase a different model.

Works Great
For the price this works great. Not sure how well it will stand up to the test of time, but for now its great.

ONLY delivers 150psi
I was disappointed when I saw it will only deliver 150psi...the current I have does more and I need more when testing coil pressures. I will keep it for a backup but will look for another with more delivery,...feels pretty cheaply made, feels like low quality

Worked great on Nitorgen Bottle
Work great and reasonably priced. This replaced a brand name USA regulator that failed.
