Easy to use. Perfect for kids just starting their discovery process. Not much gets my kid excited (other than video games), but he spent hours using this (day1) & kept saying,”Mom! This is amazing”. He has used it every day since. Totally worth it!

Pice of junk wouldn’t even work, looks way better than it is. It has thin hollow plastic housing and gears barely work and feel like they’ll break at any moment. The eye piece wasn’t centered properly and you couldn’t even see though it. I don’t think the mirror were even aligned. It was a novelty at best would make a great lab gag gift. I was to disappointing to let my 4 year old try. Back in the box and returned it. Don’t waste your money. I think the Crain machine at the old arcade has one that’s nicer.

Purchased for my granddaughter 6th Birthday. She loves it.

Its the right size for a kid, got it for my 7yo daughter who aspires to be a naturalist. I set it up for her and gave it a practice run to make sure it was lined up and working (plus I was kinda excited to check it out myself). Flipping between the magnification settings....ehh...I kinda couldnt see any big difference. It took me a couple min but it was simple enough to get it all lined up and have her checking things out in no time. Its plastic, small parts, and staring into a bright light. So we only let her have it out when we are with her to make sure it isnt missused and to make sure she is bring safe. I honestly wouldnt get for a child younger then 7-8. Over all its fun, a great intro into the micro world, and most importantly feeding your child's want to explore science! So I would have to say money well spent and overall happy with purchase.

Very bad 👎. My son said he can't see anything.When I looked in the microscope I could not see anything at all.🥼👎

Espectacular

Bought this for my nephews birthday when he turned 5. For the price it isn’t bad but definitely isn’t easy for a kid to use themselves. Definitely seems like a toy but works ok. A grown up (With some microscope experience) is needed to focus the lens on the object. Love that it came with its own set of slides. My nephew really liked that. Good for curious young minds but be prepared to spend a significant amount of time swapping out and focusing slides for your kid.
