Blackberry & Quinoa Strengthening Conditioner for Color-Treated Hair, Moisturizing, Color-Protecting, 12 fl oz

I love the Aveeno brand shampoos. I started off using the Rosemary and Chamomile scent, which smells amazing. This one is ok, not as nice, but definitely smells like blackberries -- so it has a fruity smell with a hint of grains. It does a great job of protecting my copper color that I have my hair dyed -- honestly have been told by my stylist that my color is holding up very well, considering reds tend to fade faster than most. One of the things that I like about this shampoo, is that it is one of the few brands that help with an itchy scalp. I have oily hair but I sweat a lot on my scalp too for some reason, so my scalp gets super itchy. No flakes or anything, just makes me want to scratch my skin like crazy because of dried sweat. This shampoo helps so much with that, neutralizing any itchiness. Some shampoos actually make me itch worse, and this doesn't. It's better than shampoos with teatree oil imho -- which I've also tried. It's also not terribly expensive like some of the salon brands and doesn't have a lot of harsh chemicals, in fact it is sulfate and paraben free, which I also love. My hair feels healthy and shiny and uncoated.

The best smelling conditioner I have ever smelt. (and I've smelled a lot, I'm a licensed cosmetologist) it's worth buying for the scent alone. for the main this helps protect color, truly does. I color my hair (quite often) to punky color flamingo pink, with a dash of purple to darken it up ever so slightly. Problem is, I have to be careful what products I use, I do my best to get the color to last as long as possible, and this conditioner, did it's job super well. My color lasted the longest ever, using this (and the matching shampoo) It didn't even start fading until 5 months (do not expect these same results I do a lot of other things this just drastically help prolong the color though) after coloring it, and by then I already had noticeable regrowth. Truly impressed with it's color protecting abilities, especially on semi-permanent exotic colors. It was just ok in the "keep hair soft and manageable" area. My hair was soft, and brush-able, it didn't help much with my hair tangling issue, but in all fairness almost nothing it, my hair knots up if you look at it wrong. What I can say is it didn't dry my hair out, or make these issues worse. I also can't say it improved my hair in away, Hair felt clean and soft, but nothing WOW worthy. A good hot hair straightening blow dry always helps, but my hair can handle hot hot heat.

I love this conditioner!!!! I've struggled with a dry scalp and hair for a while now and have had a hard time finding the perfect hair products. This leaves my hair soft and shiny and helps keep my color from fading! Aveeno always makes super good quality products and this is no different, its super moisturizing and leaves my thick hair looking more alive! One of the most effective and reasonably priced options out there!

I almost returned the bottle, but noticed the 'new look, same formula' message is reaaaally small print. I actually like the different color bottle to discern shampoo from conditioner. So, it's good conditioner for the price - smells ok, doesn't leave hair greasy. It does create a lot of static and just ok, and works well with the shampoo. I don't use a lot of it and don't leave it in that long, so it works. I have long wavy hair and it leaves it soft.

My scalp was very dry and itchy so I purchased this shampoo and conditioner to try. First off I LOVE the smell! I love the lather! I love the way it makes my hair look and my hair color has not faded like it usually would! My scalp hasn’t been itchy. I only wish this came in a bigger size like a Costco or Sam’s club size because I want to use it every day!

It smells great, feels thick enough like it should do the trick, and your hair does feel clean after, but after washing and conditioning, my hair did not feel like it was conditioned at all. My hair was super frizzy, worse than with any other product. I actually wound up having bad split ends within a week after using this line of products. Got my hair cut and switched back to my old stuff I was using for years.

love this. ive been using it for years, and my hair is very silky, shiny, and healthy. it smells so good and is a lot better value than the expensive salon grade conditioners that do the same thing. its very light as well
