Outdated Tyres Sold Without Disclosure
Received Apollo Amazer 4G Life 185/65 R15 tyres manufactured in 2024, while the purchase was made in 2026. This means the tyres are already around 2 years old at the time of delivery. This is a serious safety concern. Tyres degrade with time even if unused — the rubber hardens, which directly affects grip, braking performance, and wet road safety. There was absolutely no mention of manufacturing year or stock age in the product listing. Selling 2-year-old tyres without clear disclosure is misleading and unacceptable. Customers should not have to check DOT codes after delivery to discover this. Manufacturing date must be clearly stated, or fresh stock (within 6–12 months) should be supplied. Also note: tyre warranty effectively starts from manufacturing date, not purchase date. So buyers are already losing usable warranty period without being informed. This lack of transparency creates both safety risk and financial loss for the customer.
