Dolci di Maria Gluten Free Classic Biscotti (Anise) | 6-7 cookies in a 6.0 ounce pack

The classic biscotti has a strong anise flavor, but it's also sweet. It isn't too sweet, in my opinion. Perfect to have with coffee. I do notice some reviews saying how these are hard or tough. This is BISCOTTI. I still remember the biscotti I used to get at Starbucks before I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Biscotti is HARD and you have to dunk it in coffee and swirl it around a bit. This biscotti isn't hard because it is gluten free. It is hard because that is how biscotti is. Let the cookie soak up the moisture, and THEN bite into it. It will be so soft and delicious. I will say it's definitely more expensive than I would like it to be, but unfortunately this is par for the course for gluten free products. Pretty sad for those of us who have no choice in the matter due to sensitivity or celiac disease.

These crunchy savory treats make my taste buds sing! I'm so happy to have found these delicious GLUTEN FREE biscotti biscuits. They're terrific with a warm cup of tea or coffee, or as a grab-and-go treat. Whether you're a gluten watcher or not, you'll love these!

These biscotti are very tasty (anise). I normally have trouble finding gluten free biscotti in the grocery and I usually look for them at Home Goods or TJMaxx. They are never there all the time. So I thought I’d give these a try. I was very pleased by the packaging. I have had biscotti mailed to me in the past where they arrived broken. These stayed intact because this company took the time to bubble wrap them and box them in the appropriate sized box so they wouldn’t shift around inside it. I had to pay $5.99 in shipment fees which made them more expensive, but I felt it was worth the price to get something I can’t usually find locally. I got them in 6 days, shipping from NC to GA. I highly recommend them to celiacs who like biscotti but who can’t normally find them near their homes. Thank you for the great taste and packaging!

Taste and texture is great. Lot of crumbs from shipping so gave 4 stars.

Too much sugar

The cookies were small(four of them). Total cost and shipping was $18.00d and change. Price over kill! The cookies tasted okay BUT STILL $18.00 AND CHANGE FOR FOUR BISCOTTI'S WOULD BE HIGHWAY ROBBERY EVEN IN ITALY!!

These are like real Italian Biscotti. They are hard and crunchy to stand up to dunking, which is the way they are supposed to be enjoyed. A quick one second dunk gives the perfect soft/crunchy texture without becoming mushy. What you choose to dunk into (Coffee, Cocoa, Tea - with our without cream, sweetener) blooms their flavors. We have tried all 3 flavors and find that each is slightly different dunked into each of our beverage choices, giving us a wide variety to savor. Biscotti over at the coffee shop costs 2.25 each + tax, so the price is pretty much standard. Strongly recommend this for the G/Fs who feel life has been passing them by because of their restricted diet. Wonderful G/F Biscotti!

So, so delicious! Such a great treat to find this gluten-free biscotti. I'm obsessed with the traditional flavor, so full of anise flavor. I also bought chocolate, which is equally good. One caution. This biscotti is very, very crisp, actually hard to bite into, but I like that and the flavor is phenomenal!
