Excellent and fun
For reference, I am in my forties, have been training forever, am a recovering cardio addict and love KB training. This is an excellent DVD consisting of two circuits, an abs workout and a finisher. As always, Lauren gives excellent pointers (Which I use when I am training on my own and have been very helpful). She also provides instruction on proper form and is very motivating. The tempo is slower, and the reps lower, which really allows you to focus on form. You can always add on the finisher if you want to amp it up. Excellent workouts! If you are in the market for solid, fun, effective training sessions, this is the DVD to get. Thanks Lauren!

Not worth the money...not even close...
I feel like a fool for buying this DVD. I have bought many, many workout DVDs from Amazon and this one is by far the worst (and the only one I have returned): The production quality is terrible, the moves are confusing and impossible to follow, some circuits make no sense at all (i.e. alternating partners during a circuit- umm, I'm working out alone as are most people who do DVDs), and the music is ANNOYING as hell. This is clearly a budget video and they have no business charging $40 for it. It's not even worth $5. I bought it based on the reviews, which I now think are fake.

Lauren is a great instructor
In my opinion, Lauren Brooks and Dasha Libin create the best kettlebell workouts. Lauren's no-nonsense and fast-moving approach means that there is no boredom and great results. I do not use the tutorials, but am impressed that she always includes them. Will purchase any new KB workout she produces. For the ab workout, I substitute a foam roller for the skate board thing.

Kettlebell Revelation is Awesome!
I purchased this through my husband's account and wanted to leave a review. Lauren's Kettlebell Revelation has been transformational for me! This video has allowed me to gain significant strength and stamina. I own most of Lauren's videos and can't wait to buy her next one! --Stephanie Smith

Cutting Edge Workout
This is a cutting edge kettlebell workout. It hasn't made it to my rotation yet, but will be looking forward to working out with it. This is more of an advanced kettlebell workout. I think it would be too hard for a beginner.

Love her
Any of Lauren's instructional videos are fantastic. She truly know her stuff and is a very SAFE instructor. Love her and the work outs. If you haven't tried kettle bell, start off with correct form and basics with Lauren.

New favorite!
I'm loving this DVD! I own multiple Lauren Brooks DVD's and this one has quickly become a favorite. It is very challenging for me- I am probably an "intermediate" exerciser and just had a baby via c-section less than 5 months ago (so still working back to where I was pre-pregnancy). I exercise pretty much daily, though 2-3 days a week are a slower paced Yoga or Pilates work out. I also love higher intensity MetCon-type workouts, along with strength workouts. Kettlebells are probably my favorite workout tool of all. I love the efficiency and I just think they are fun. Lauren Brooks is a great instructor (which explains why I own multiple DVD's of hers!)- her form is impeccable. As mentioned, this particular DVD is very challenging- using heavy weights, my heart rate spikes up and stays up. Just yesterday, I did strength #2 and tried to add on the fat blaster at the end. I got through just the swing round of the fat blaster before thinking I might die. :-) My heart rate monitor showed that my heart rate was in the 90%'s a good portion of the time and I ended up burning 382 Calories in 37 short minutes. I am using weights from 15-40 pounds for this workout. I recommend having a variety of kettlebell weights for this workout, though if you are new to kettlebells, it's not necessary. I do think this is more of an Advanced workout and would recommend starting with one of her other DVD's- such as Kettlebell Body or Shut Up and Train with Kettlebells if you are brand new to kettlebells. I began working out with kettlebells (and Lauren!) about 7 years ago and started with a 15 pound bell. I have added more weights throughout the years and my hubby uses them too. It really is the perfect at-home solution that doesn't require a ton of expensive equipment.
