Stylish and superior operating room humidifier.
I have had two of these MIRO humidifiers for almost three years and have had no problems or concerns at all. They operate silently and efficiently and keep our first-floor living area at a healthy and comfortable humidity level. They are easily cleaned (about once every two weeks or one month). One of them serves as a nightlight for our living room area. We have done some renovation and need a third unit to serve the first-floor en-suite bedroom area and my office when these areas are closed off from the rest of the first-floor living area. Much superior to other humidifiers we have had.

Read Setup Directions in Manual
I set the humidifier up last night for the first time. I used the quick setup booklet. Save yourself some grief and skip the booklet. Go straight for the manual. The manual has more detail and drawings. There are a lot of parts to this humidifier and it’s easy to get them in the wrong place. Using the manual will help you set it up correctly, which is very important for the humidifier to operate properly. It does look very easy to clean since literally everything but the motor and electrical stuff comes apart. I very much like that I can use filtered water as well as distilled water. I have filtered water through my refrigerator. Being able to use filtered water will save me a lot of money since I run the humidifier all winter. The humidifier is larger than I expected. I have it sitting on a marble-topped plant stand. You will need to set it on a waterproof level surface or put some kind of barrier under it. The instructions indicate that condensation is possible and could ruin a wooden surface. I ran it last night and there wasn’t any condensation but it is better to be safe than to ruin your furniture. It is also to be placed at least 3 feet away from you. So the plant stand works great. The humidifier has a muffler to help mute the noise. I didn’t think it was loud, but I sleep with Google Home playing the sound of a thunderstorm so the humidifier was nothing. One comment was about the whistling sound when turned to high humidity. There are only 3 levels to choose from. I didn’t run it on high all night but I did turn it up high to see how much mist it produced and I did not notice any whistling noise. The base lights up making it convenient to use as a nightlight if you like a very bright nightlight. Otherwise, it’s a bit annoying. It does say that there is an app that can be downloaded to dim the light, however, the reviews on the app are terrible. Apparently, the app wants all kinds of access to your phone and doesn’t work properly. I see in the questions and answers section that it is possible to turn the light off. I didn’t try that but I hope that it is true.Overall I am pleased with the humidifier. I like the pros enough to overlook the cons.

Great with one flaw other than that get it
First off well designed well out together. And SUPER EASY TO CLEAN! I have chronic nose bleeds and my skin breaks out when the air is super dry. But I also have large hands and hate cleaning tanks and getting those small hard to reach areas. This is easy and sometimes when I’m super lazy I put in the dishwasher except the pump part. The only flaw I found is the mist isn’t super fine as I had hope with this price point and it doesn’t always suck up every drop of water so I’m constantly dumping 1/7 out or it’ll get moldy super quick. Other than that it’ll one 3 days on low which is perfect for the bedroom. This is perfect for an small room. If you need a finer mist and or larger area covered I would recommend a large tank system that you wash once a week. But for childrens room or bedroom this thing rocks and the highlight is handy for kids and or using to navigate without waking your partner up. Also small tidbit I wish they include brushes for the stems that pipe the steam other than that a solid 4 out 5 in my book.

Potential fire hazard should mist maker stop working
I wanted to love this. I did a lot of research and this had great reviews. I, too, am a germaphobe and wanted an easy to clean humidifier for the baby’s room. And it is, but it takes A LOT of time to wash all the parts and there are still small areas that are tough to reach. A small bottle brush cleaner for baby bottles worked well. Here’s my biggest problem with the humidifier, we bought it in March and used it until mid April when our air wasn’t as dry. When I got it out in October again, it worked well for about two weeks. Then the mist maker fan malfunctioned. It wouldn’t output any mist and that fan part got very very hot. While customer service was lovely to work with, it took 3-4 weeks to get a replacement part. And once we received it, upon reading another review it made me worry that should the part malfunction again that it would be a fire hazard. We were so lucky to have checked it and catch that it was not working right when we did. Who knows what would have happened if we let it run with the mist maker fan malfunctioning all night in the infant’s room. It did not appear to have an automatic shut off should the machine malfunction. Rather than try running it in the baby’s room with the replacement part we ended up throwing it out. It simply wasn’t worth the risk.

Worth It!!!
I love this product!!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the unit still glows gently when the LEDs are turned off. That is by design so you don’t accidentally knock over the unit in the middle of the night, but I can’t sleep with ambient light. So I tape over the light and hide it as best I can, though it still glows. I avoid putting it where I’d trip into it anyway. Taking it out after using it last year gives me treat joy, it’s ready to go with no mold and no need to buy a filter. It’s completely clean and safe to use. Very quiet and puts out a lot of humidity. For my small room I keep it on low and it’s great, and it does very well in large rooms too. To avoid having to clean it during the season, I just put the parts on my bathroom counter to dry every morning. It takes only a few seconds to put back together again. (You don’t have to do that, you could just leave it together as you run off to work.) You do have to be careful not to spill the water when you add it, there is no screw on cap like other machines. But it’s well worth the money, very sanitary. The other brands just get thrown in the landfill or ocean and destroy the environment. It took me awhile to figure out how to use the muffler with it as they were missing a step in the directions. But it’s very easy to use. If they ever make a base with the option to turn off the lights on the control panel completely and they let me trade out mine for that, I’d give it 5 stars. But honestly, all products you use at night give off ambient light, so this is about the same. If that doesn’t bother you, then consider this 5 stars. It’s an excellent product and you don’t find that often these days!

Well worth the higher price
Humidifiers drive me nuts. They are necessary here in the Midwest during winter when frigid and bone dry air moves in. All in all, the machines work well and help with humidity levels. But cleaning these machines is a nightmare. Most have manny small, confined spaces where mold and mildew will develop, and all those sections need to be cleaned with vinegar frequently. I was sick of it.This humidifier from Miro, in addition to being attractive and providing a light show *the lights can be turned off), all parts of the Miro can be washed with plain ol soap and water. Problem solved. This thing is very "Dyson-esque" in its design and I'm surprised Dyson doesn't have a better humidifier. (Dyson does have a humidifierthat costs about $800, so a Miro for $130 or so is a bargain.)I can't speak to durability yet as we just got it. But if cleaning humidifiers makes you crazy, get the Miro.

EASY CLEANING = MUST HAVE
This product is amazing. There is NO OTHER humidifier that is so easily and fully cleaned. In a desperate search for my baby’s nursery, my mom told me to get a 20/30 dollar humidifier and just throw it out once it gets that pink ring. I knew that was a waste and also unsafe! I don’t want to always to be on the lookout for the pink mold! I finally found the MIRO humidifier. The answer to my prayers!!! I can’t believe you can wash all of it. It’s perfect.Even though there are a few things I’d rather change, it doesn’t change my five star rating of this product. I thought the set up was a little difficult. I am usually really good at following directions so I was confused when it was difficult for me. I finally figured it out but it took a bit of time. I think the reason this is is because some of the parts I received (the vapor caps specifically - not sure if I was shipped an older model, but it’s a little less sleek than the slanted opening of the ones on the manual) are different than the ones picture. I also was very careful to not wash the parts that cannot be washed. There is one part that says control knobs. I can’t seem to figure out if those came with mine or if maybe it’s the mist-maker - the thing with the fan. I would like to figure out if I can wash the mist maker. It was also unclear how to install the noise muffler.Excluding those trivial things, this humidifier is 5 stars. It’s easy to clean and puts humidity in the air. Not only that, the touch control panel is super cool and very easy to use.Worth the price!!!

Excellent humidifier, much improved from earlier generation
This is our second Miro humidifier. We had first version of Miro washable humidifier which we unfortunately had couple issues. This version has all of the previous issues we have faced resolved! Couple issues with first version that are resolved.- Floating based has some anchor which will keep it floating around center even when the water base is low- humidifier core also has anchor in the base which will always keep it flat. Previously both of these were floating only guided by the cord tension within zone which it could move around to.- Main water body is no longer exposed to open air. This prevents insects & etc from accidentally falling into the water base. (There are two small openings for additional water intake)- Possibly because of the cover, noise level from this is very low even at highest output.- I like having this stable base instead of dangling control knob. Dangling control knob could fall off table for example, pulling the humidifier floating base along with it.We were not completely satisfied with our first generation but decided to take another chance when this was on sale for around $120, and have not regretted a single day!Cleaning is very easy too - I have had couple humidifiers, but this (and previous Miro version) gives the best cleaning option.

Grossly overpriced, all cheap plastic, impossible to clean
Grossly overpriced. Impossible to clean. Two years ownership, the design failings in this humidifier are a little surprising and just increasingly aggravating. This device is all cheap plastic, there is maybe $40 of parts in it. The control base has no drainage channels so it naturally accumulates moisture and increases infection from standing water. The inside is very clever, unfortunately there are WAY too many crevices and hard to clean spots: I need to use three tools to clean the inside and it is still impossible to get it all; no, the dishwasher will NOT get this clean. I suspect the original designers never cleaned this thing more than twice. If this humidifier was under $150 I would say it's decent, but it's not: buy a Boneco.

Great Humifier!
Its a very nice humidifier!Very quiet, powerful, lasts long and glows colourful lightsThe strongest level is very powerful and i like it the most. But I must put towers under the humidifer because floors get very wet in the morning. This doesn't bother me as much, but just FYI on your purchase.

Do not get this. Faulty design. Poor customer service.
As another user commented, there is a component that has 2 parts glued together. You cannot take it apart. Water gets trapped inside, thus, mold grows inside. This product advertises as all parts can be washed. This is false.I contacted Miro about this and no response. I sent this email one month ago. They must know about this and ignored this fact.

No Humidity!
This machine is easy to assemble and has great style. Unfortunately, it hardly humidifies, even on its highest setting. It went through less than 1L of water in 7 hours, and my throat and eyes were as dry as ever when I woke up in the morning. I checked the machine repeatedly and it is definitely not malfunctioning, so it seems to be the actual product design. My other humidifier, a Boneco, uses 4L in 5 hours and does a terrific job of humidifying my entire master bedroom measuring 250 square feet. I bought the Miro unit because I loved the idea of a fully washable humidifier, but the unit simply doesn’t serve its purpose.

Awful. Broke in less than 4 month
In the span of 3-4 months the fan just stopped working. It works for a few mins and then spontaneous stops. Complete waste and customer service is nonexistent.
