Wagan IN9988 Black 12V Ergo Comfort Rest Massage Magnetic Cushion

This model is supposed to have lumbar support. It does not. Looking at the picture it didn't look like it had lumbar support (notice a bulge at the very bottom of the backing and another at the very top). The bulges house devices that vibrate-not massage. It is a very high frequency vibration. It doesn't feel bad, but it is in the wrong spot-at least the lower one is in the wrong spot. I am 5' 10" for reference. The upper vibration is right between my shoulder blades and didn't feel bad, although I noticed the same thing mentioned by a different reviewer. After about 15 minutes of vibration, I started feeling sick, I turned it off and 20 minutes later I felt better. My massage chair at home has never elicited this type of responce. Back to the lack of lumbar support. I have degenerative disc disorder so I shouldn't slouch. Slouching and big soft chairs cause my back to ache within 5-10 minutes. Because of the bulge at the top and bottom of this cushion, I slouch even more when I sit in it - not what I was looking for. As for the heat function, it does get pretty warm, but it takes 10-12 minutes to get there. All of my cars (with built in heated seats) will get warm within about 5 minutes. The strap to hold the seat in place is fair, but I think there should be one running from the top between the headrest down to the first strap to help keep it in place better. The seat portion does not have a strap and the matrerial does slide around on my leather seats. The design with the lower buldge just seems poor. It vibrates just above your tailbone, just below the belt for me. If this is where you need support, then maybe this will work for you. Shipping was very quick and the material seems OK. Amazon does allow for an easy return so after 3 days mine is going back. I will try a completely different type of lumbar support. Last note, the car charger would not fit into my cigarette lighter but did fit into my 12v aux outlet... 2007 Mercedes E-320. Don't know why. The whole reason I need lumbar support in this car is due to the newer headrest designs that are pitched so far forward. I sit with the seat near vertical, but with this car, that pushes you head forward. Very uncomfortable. I guess they figure everyone likes riding in a semi-reclined position. There are lots of posts about this issue.

I was very skeptical on reading all the reviews. But hey, for the price-it was worth a shot.I bought this for my work office chair. The cushions for my butt dont cushion at all, and I'm pregnant and started getting some back pains because I sit in my uncomfortable chair all day. Our office is always fairly cold, so I needed something with a heat feature.Heat: The heat works great! It does take a few minutes to warm up though. The butt heat gets really hot, I have to turn it off after 10 minutes. I cant really feel the back heat because I lean forward on my seat alot. but the back part does heat up if I actually sit properly. The heat works WITH (or without) the massaging feature too.Massage: its a huge vibrator. there's a low and high setting. you can separately massage your thighs, lumbard and shoulders. you can massage all three at the same time. you can even massage 2 out of the 3 at the same time. << Great feature that I needed!Magnet: I dont know anything about magnet therapy. but the illustration states that there's magnets by the thighs and the back. I cant tell if it does anything.I've had this for about a week and I use it (heat and/or massage) for about 1-2 hours out of my work day. It hasn't let me down.Only 1 Con that I can think of: the thigh massage balls sit right under my thighs. Its pretty uncomfortable. It makes me separate my knees when I sit down. Just a heads up.I'm very happy I made this purchase! :)

I own two vehicles. My Lexus spoiled me with the heated/cooled seats. Because of all the snow we got in DC last winter, I bought a 2003 Honda CR-V. The CR-V does not have heated or cooled front seats. It's been really cold here this winter. When I drive the CR-V, I miss the Lexus heated seats. This Ergo Comfort Rest cushion was an excellent solution. I should have bought one of these last February.It would be nice if the temperature could be increased or decreased, but for $40 it's more than adequate. I no longer have a cold bum when I'm driving to work in the morning. I don't plan to use the massage function. Not that it's bad, but usually when a car seat is vibrating, it's not a good thing. I might get used to it some day.When I first opened the package I didn't see the AC adapter. Like other reviewers had written, I thought it was missing. It wasn't. When I had taken the seat cushion out of the plastic cover, a small white box had fallen out of the plastic cover and slid under a table. I found the white box a few minutes later. The adapter was in the box. I suggest that the seat cushion be removed carefully from the plastic cover to avoid what I did.

This thing has mixed reviews; actually, all the heated seat covers do. I picked this one and am happy with it. I had never even considered heated car seats until I had a loaner car w/ them for a week. I usually leave work with a sore lower back, and the heat was fantastic. I decided to order this when I gave the loaner car back, and I figured I may as well get one with massage options. The heat on this takes a bit longer to kick in than heated leather seats, but once it's going, it feels nice and warm. The massage options can be controlled separately (3 target areas) AND are available in high and low intensities, which is pretty nice. I think the "shoulders" option is a bit low, and I'm not a tall person. I am really only interested in the lumbar area, and that was situated pretty well. I decided to order one as a Christmas present.

As a commuter I thought this would be an amazing product however it wasn't. The heated seat is nice buy the message pieces that are inside the chair are not padded enough and that's all I could feel on my lower back. Get out of the car dying of back pain. Also the car charger piece when I took it out of the ciggerette lighter I had noticed that the silver end piece fell off and it no longer worked. I would like to return this product
