I had to laugh when reading that an earlier reviewer found this ornament a bit too large for his tree. I have a "baby" tree... 4 feet tall in all its glory, and I filled it up with my collection of Old World Ornaments, including this adorable (if a bit round and pudgy) squirrel. Granted, it only took about 8 ornaments, mixed in with some slender blown glass icicles and tiny lights to completely stuff my little tree, but if you are looking for collectible ornaments that are well made, gorgeous to look at, and that may run a bit off the beaten path, then you won't go wrong in choosing these. I was amazed at how many ornaments I quickly found that I could never have imagined having meaning for anyone else, but apparently this company looks out for just those special ornaments, and in doing so captured another collector this past Christmas who is now wondering where she has room for a larger tree so she can fill it with even more ornaments! One caution...they are delicate, and while not quite as breakable as I remember our German glass ornaments to be when I was a child, you still wouldn't want to inadvertently squeeze one while holding it, or you could end up with a handful of very pretty shards and the hope that you can replace it.

Have ordered from this company before (get a new ornament every year) so knew what I was expecting. They typically have very nice ornaments and this one was no different. Price was great too compared to what I saw in the Christmas shop I visited recently.

I bought this ornament for an ornament exchange on Christmas Eve. I like how shiny and sparkly the squirrel is! The Old World ornaments remind me of the ornament exchanges my family had in the past and good memories! Thank you!

I have now bought about 25 of the Old World tree ornaments for my tree of travel memories and this squirrel is by far one of the best!!! He is wonderful, exquisitely made with a real natural look, my favourite of all, I would give 10 stars if I could :)

I have been visting a park this year with a lot of Canada Geese and have become very fond of them, so I wanted to get an ornament to remind me of them. This one is beautiful. It has a touch of glitter which makes it a little more Christmasy. And it actually has a little bit of weight, so it's not as thin as some blown glass ornaments. I'm thrilled with it.

Gosh, my Christmas squirrel is perfect, I love him. He’s well made and much more handsome in the flesh ♥️
