Apple Pectin 4 Ounces (USP Qualified) (114 Grams)

We use this for extra fiber in my daughter’s diet. It’s mixed into her protein shakes every day. You can’t even tell it’s been added to the chocolate shake. This was prescribed by my daughter’s medical professional. We are very satisfied and seeing improvements in my daughter’s health.

I love this stuff. I actually just add a teaspoon to my smoothies and it keeps me nice and regular. Not sure how it tastes because I’m always masking it with smoothie, but it’s definitely not making my smoothie taste bad. 10/10

I thought this pectin would be more acidic, like other pectin products I've tried, but it wasn't. I was already expecting that it would need hot water to dissolve, and it did take some time to liquefy the gummy mass. I wanted to find out the difference between apple pectin and citrus pectin, and also the difference between usual commercial products and pure pectin. Now I have a better idea.

I think it’s good. I got it for gut health. Weird texture, thick and a little gummy. But you’re drinking it or using it more for health rather than taste. Doesn’t really taste like anything. Hope this helps!

I wanted to do the Edgar Cayce Apple fast without the apples. To the best of my knowledge apple pectin is excellent for GI Tract because it cleans the walls of the intestines, and helps remove toxins. It worked better than I anticipated, therefore I would recommend using in moderation with plenty of fluids.

It taste a bit gross. Maybe different flavor would work better

Almost all other "pure apple pectin" has dextrose in it which is corn sugar. Not only is that not "pure" but I'm allergic to corn.... So it's wonderful to find an ACTUALLY PURE apple pectin for a reasonable price. You'll notice this one is not white, but tan, that's because it's real. Top quality stuff. Thank you.
