Great bike
We got this one for our granddaughter's fifth birthday and it was a hit. It was super easy to assemble and the design and sturdiness of the bike was excellent. Schwinn has always been a good name for bikes so I felt this was a good choice for her first two wheeler. She had an easy time riding and loved it. In fact, it was such a hit that we bought a second one for her sister who will be turning 3 this month. She's tall for her age and loved riding her sister's bike. She chose a different color and is really happy with it. Only downside is the lack of a kick stand which we will need once the training wheels come off. It would be nice to have a matching stand rather than the chrome color that can be purchased separately. The basket is also a bit flimsy and could break after several falls once the training wheels come off and the bike hits the ground. These are all minor inconveniences as the overall quality of the bike seems really good. It's only our first month so we'll have to see how the two bikes hold up after this summer.

Great little bike with a good value
Color : Teal Style : 18 inch Bought it for my 6 years old daughter. The assembly was very minimal and it took 25 - 30 mins to assemble the entire bike with minimal tools. The IKEA toolbox is sufficient to assemble the entire thing. Compared to other bikes it's very comfortable for her to ride. The teal color looks absolutely beautiful. Now about the customer service, while assembling I noticed the back reflector was broken, never bothered to return just for a reflector bought couple of them from Amazon which doesn't fit (the diameter size was matching), the diameter was either too small or little big and not fitting. After returning both finally called Schwinn support mentioned in product support from Amazon order details. The call took a while to connect but once I was able to talk to then and mentioned the model number they sent the reflectors within next 3 days. So I believe they'll support and stand behind their product. Like the fact that it comes with a side stand and both the hand brakes. It is priced on little higher side but it is sturdily built, stable, assembly is very easy, very comfortable to ride and looks absolutely amazing. My daughter absolutely loves it to ride and we are happy with our purchase.

This is a durable, high-quality training bicycle that offers excellent value.
This Schwinn kids' bike is excellent! The SmartStart Ergonomic Design and the adjustable seat are its best features, making it easy for my grand daughter to ride and ensuring it will last as they grow. I appreciate the wide range of sizes (12-20 Inch) and colors. A perfect training bicycle for ages 2-13. Highly recommended!

Good quality bike, but they sent the wrong color!
Schwinn still makes a good product although the basket is hard plastic and will crack when the bike gets dropped or my granddaughter falls- it already happened to the same bike bought for her older sister two years ago. But that didn't stop me from ordering the same for my younger granddaughter when she was old enough for a two wheeler bike. The only disappointing thing was that I placed an order for a Teal (& purple) colored bike. What was delivered to my granddaughter was a pink bike which happened to be the exact same bike her older sister received. So the option I had to give a 4 year old was to have the exact bike as her sister and have it now, or wait a week or more to get the color she preferred (and that I had ordered). I felt bad for her as pink was certainly not her choice, but she was too excited to have a new bike and decided not to wait for the right color. Now we need to buy additional accessories to personalize the two bikes for her and her sister (tassels, name plate) so they don't look exactly the same.

18" wheels, great purchase
It came in a cardboard box. The bike is very sturdy and heavier than I expected. The handlebar-mounted reflector was cracked, but I'm gluing it. I might just leave it off. It's plastic, as are the basket and chain guard. The pedals are plastic, but they seem sturdy. It came with cables attached, chain attached, and rear wheel in place. The handlebars are separate but connected via the cables. The seat was detached too and the front wheel was detached. Doing the assembly was much easier than I expected. The tires are tube tires, not foam. The booklet seems to cover maintenance and more complex assembly. Its in French and Spanish as well as English. It recommends putting white lithium grease on connection points during assembly. I love Schwinn, but they switched to metric nuts and bolts. Made in China.

Great customer service!
This bike was super easy to assemble. Unfortunately the left pedal keeps unthreading itself and falling off. (Maybe it was a right pedal mislabeled as a left?) I contacted Schwinn and they’re sending replacement parts immediately, no questions asked! Not only are they sending a replacement pedal, but an entire pedal assembly kit. When I said I didn’t think I needed anything but the left pedal, the customer service rep said she wouldn’t take any chances and would send all parts that could possibly be contributing to the issue. So, A++++ for customer service. I got a shipment email the same day, and this is during the holiday season!! The bike fits my 3 year old daughter perfectly. I’m looking forward to seeing her learn to ride on this bike.

Excellent bike but had missing part
The bike as such is great and well made. Easy to assemble and rides great. There was an axle nut and washer for the front tire missing and the other was damaged in transit. There was no way I could contact anyone to get a replacement either from Amazon or the manufacturer. The only option was to return the full bike which does not make sense. I was able to go to a local bike shop and the person was kind enough to give me a spare nut and washer. After full assembly the bike looked great and my daughter was happy with it. You might have to adjust the brakes a bit and also the training wheels to your desire.

Quality control at an all time low.
Every bearing was bad. The ones in the handle bars stuck in spots. The ones in the crankcase also bound in places and even slipped about 1/16 of a rotation at one spot. The ones in the wheels were audibly grinding, and the wheels would only free spin for about 5 seconds. I should have known something was wrong when 3-4 of the zip ties were already cut when I opened the box. Someone else found out this one was a POS and sent it back once before. I bought this exact same style of bike 4 years ago for my older kid, and it was fine. She’s still riding hers. I grew up riding a Schwinn Scrambler. It was a great bike. I know they’ve gone bankrupt a couple of times, got sold, and probably outsource all their manufacturing now, but quality control oversight of the subs is imperative. Ask Boeing. FFS, the cost difference between quality bearings and the cheap ones is about $1 per bicycle. There’s no way these bearings even met the minimum tolerance standards. I know a kids bike doesn’t need to be an ABEC 9, but these were junk.

Very loud running on slightly rough terrain. The saddle is too small, stiff and hard
Bought this one for my 5 years old daughter. She was looking forward to the bike for weeks. Unfortunately she tried riding on this bike once and gave up on it. It felt rough and gave pain to her butt. After just 1 test ride, its now sitting in my storage waiting to be disposed of. Better off testing before buying any bike people, unless u are really sure about you want to buy. Decathlon in Singapore is worth trying out if you want to buy simple bikes.

Solid quality and very pretty!
This child's bike took about 1.0-1.5 hours to put together and resulted in a very sturdy bicycle that we know our grand-daughter will love. My husband even suggested that I could take it for a spin, it was so solid! LOL.
