These are certainly heavy duty, the locking mechanism is smooth and workable with slightly too big leather gloves. I used it to hook to a belt and the leash of a dog so that the very strong dog would stop sending me to the chiropractor for shoulder adjustments. I will probably also use them for putting up hammocks in the near future. Wish it also came in a set of two or four…
