Sacred Mysteries: The Chakra Oracle

I just received the set today, but already, I can tell they will be an amazing addition for my practice and for receiving assistance as Divination and "Self-Help," Heavy on the Self-Help. The images are simply gorgeous, and the book is bursting with information, no LWB with a one-sentence summary here!The packaging is excellent, a large, sturdy box with a magnetic flap, and the cards are secure in their little cut out. The book itself is trade size, and it is in COLOR so at least there I can see the images a bit better. Various ideas and concepts for working with each card's energy, whether this is a deity, a chakra, or a practice are offered for every card. Since this is Chakra based, the book and cards are divided into the energies of the chakras. Again I just received the deck, but I know enough of the Hindu deities to say they are assigned well to various chakras.Speaking of deities, this deck has some pleasant surprises, such as including Surya the Sun, Agni who is fire, and not just the main 6 deities more prevalent in oracle decks with a Hindu/Vedanta flavor. This is really exciting for me to discover! [The authors really need to get a few more tags on this product, including Hindu, Krishna, Shiva, so they get more interest! They deserve to have this deck become more popular!]The few issues I have are I really wish the cards were bigger, so I could see the art better. The gold edging is a little too powerful, I had some trouble separating the cards [44&45 were the WORST, very hard to get them separated without damaging them] Other than that, I just love it. Again I am so excited to have found this deck, and that it is so inclusive of so many Indian Philosophic concepts!

The first thing I noticed was the quality of the cards. They are beautifully made and printed. ( N.B., when you first take them out, the gilt edges stick together a little bit. Did they use real gold? Such lustre! Just use care to fan them out, after they are separated, there are no issues with sticking. Indeed, they slide wonderfully, feel great in the hand, and the cards look to be of a quality to last quite some time. The illustrations are beautifully done, and I wanted to spend some time just looking at the art of each card.The book that accompanies the cards is even more of a jewel. Each card is part of a larger chakra group, and they skillfully illuminate the gifts and issues of each card. The spreads given are quite useful, indeed, in my first divination, I was able to access some hidden issues influencing the situation, as well as some un-looked-for blessings. This deck is going to be a useful tool and a much loved treasure that will stand the test of time. I recommend it highly.

This package is large for oracle cards but I found out it is because it houses such a thick well-produced book. The book alone is decent but it is also accompanied by these beautiful cards with gold edges. You can use it as an oracle for its key words only or as a guide to exploring energy healing and awareness. You can also read from the images intuitively but the book also describes what is in the image and why it is there. It is a real treasure in any deck collection. It also works really well with tarot as a significator or clarifier.

This is one of the top decks in my collection, it is stunning in person.There is very little information out on this deck yet I have seen it in person by change in a bookstore after ordering it via amazon to my surprise the deck in person lived up to my expectations in quality so I was excited for my order.I’ve been using this deck every morning and studying along it, if you haveno background in Hindu or sanatana dharma I suggest studying before using this.As a Hindu I love the deck for its purpose and also the information given is super accurate to our beliefs.Overall I give this 100 stars it’s beautiful, vibrant and works with my energies I harmony.

((It is definitely more about chakras and psychology/emotions, than it is about the connection with/history of the Hindu Gods and Goddesses.)) Beautiful cards, lovely slim size to easily move in the hands. I was more interested in the info on the Gods and Goddesses. I'm not so into the chakra elaborations, as I don't need to read about them. I wish this were more specifically tied to the connection with the images on the cards in history and evocation. I know many will find this deck useful and I will enjoy it for a time, (as it is a work of art and the authors put much thought into it), and then I will gift it. It had seemed to me with all the beautiful Gods and Goddesses images that there would be more elaboration on them specifically- seeing how big the book is! For instance there is a Sun card, which looks like Lord Surya is depicted, but there is nothing about him mentioned, for people that won't recognize him. I also thought the Venus card was of Kalki, but it is said to be Shukra, who here is male, but in other recognitions I've seen as female. Alas there is always more to learn on this subject ;-)

The cards and the book are beautiful! The cards are sticked together, however I enjoyed detaching them because of the sound they made. Careful doing it. But after being detached they are satisfyingly slippery. Truly a 5 star product.

Omg I just got the sacred mysteries deck delivered a few minutes ago and I'm so happy and excited about this deck! I skimmed the books pages and lived the information that was provided. The cards themselves are beautiful too! There were no damages to them..but even if they were I wouldn't care. I wouldn't want to focus on the imperfections. I look forward to how these cards will help me on my journey of cutting through ego illusions and dissipating ego permanently in my life.

Para quienes gustan de la cultura Hindi y el tema de los chakras, este es un oráculo maravilloso, de gran colorido y con imágenes clásicas impregnadas de magia y sabiduría, así como de mensaje para el alma, el cuerpo y la mente.Algo a notar es que aunque la caja llegó bien envuelta en okástico, al abrirlo se distinguieron manchas de algo, cómo mugre o comida, y el plástico que envuelve a las cartas también se ve como si lo hubieran desprendido y vuelto a pegar. Algunas cartas incluso tienen esas pequeñas manchas de mugre o comida y la tira de plástico que las envuelve llegó maltratada y con señales de que fue despegada y vuelta a pegar, además de que los filos dorados de algunas tarjetas ya lucen maltratados. En fin... Que pareciera que me enviaron algo que alguien más devolvió, y no es la primera vez que me sucede esto con la misma editorial.Llegó un día antes de la fecha estipulada.

A arte deste deck é uma das mais belas que você irá encontrar no vasto cabedal oracular. O livro poderia ser um pouco mais atrativo, se tivessem simplificado alguns aspectos da explanação e adotado significados mais homogêneos nas palavras chaves . Atentem:- Não se trata de um TAROT e sim de um ORÁCULO com 49 cartas, tendo a Filosofia Védica como alicerce. Porém, tão valioso e útil quanto o primo famoso.

I feel the cards are thin and the container box not really sturdy but overall Beautiful cards.

Absolutely beautiful cards in a presentation box with book to explain the cards.Only downside is as like many of the reviews the cards arrive all stuck together and are a nightmare to get loose, I used a combination of a penknife and flexing the cards all over to try and break the seal, they are not exactly cheap to buy and it's very disapointing and concerning having to take a knife to them without damaging them.
