I have had this on my bike for a couple of months now and love it. I do not like the usual pizza delivery top box that you find on bikes like mine, but this one sits on the back well but doesn’t destroy the Bike lines the fact that it expands means I can carry a lot of stuff, helmet or when I go to the shops easily warm bag of food. When I am running around town, it holds two disc locks and a huge chain and my XL bike cover when needed. It collapses to a decent size and I really don’t notice that it’s on the back. I have been out in rain, not heavy, and it has been fine. If I were being very picky, I would say that the zip could do with being a little bit larger and more robust, but for the price, this is an excellent bit of kit and would highly recommend!

You will have to play around a little to find the most suitable location to fit the bags on your bike. The straps have plenty pof adjustment in them to enable you to get a good fit. My bike is a KTM 390 Adventure. I had to fit the bags further forward than expected due to grab rails at the back. I couldn't have a pillion passenger and the bags on at the same time. I only ever ride solo so it doesn't matter. Make sure you fit the hard plastic inserts into the bags correctly. These help to shape the bags. I question the durability of the zips. Only time will tell how long they will last. Don't overload them. The bags are waterproof. They look good on the bike. I like the reflective strips at the rear.

I ordered this bag, despite knowing it had a massive design flaw in that it expanded by unzipping at its base, but, it had its tie down straps located at the top, on tie down it compressed everything within it. Lord knows which unsung idiot thought that would be a good idea! However, I still brought one as it was reasonably priced and water resistant, plus the size I wanted and I would not be using the top straps. On receipt I cut off the side top straps then expanded it and put inside an inner plastic tub, which fitted snug and kept the sides up. I then bored small double holes in the base sides of the bag with plastic zip ties going through and locking the bag onto my bikes rear carrier rack tubes. That was it I now have a medium sized stiff sided rack bag for my large camera and puncture repair kit plus other small items. Unless you are going down a similar route I could not possibly recommend this bag for normal bike use due to its rubbish design flaw.

I've had these for a while now, and have taken them on a 600+ miles trip to Snowdonia. Fitting: It's a bit fiddly to fit them, especially that there are no instructions. However, with patience I managed to fit them on my Suzuki GS500. Riding: Waterproof: The waterproof covers are a joke. They are not fit for the bags, so you basically have two flapping parachutes at your back all the while you're riding. They keep some of the moisture out, but they are meant more for a trip to the store in light rain than a long trip through the mountains. MAJOR FLAW: The opening flap opens from the front to the back, and the flap is only secured with a bit of velcro. This means that at high speeds the flaps tend to open. This was a nightmare on my 600+ miles trip and could have cost us the entire trip. Because the flap opened, the saddlebag was resting on the exhaust. This made the bottom of the saddlebag melt, all of my girlfriend's clothes and shoes for the trip being melted and smoked. Horrible. I really loved the saddlebags overall. Especially for the price. However, taking them on long, high-speed (constantly over 70mph) trips? NO! Using them for groceries, or city trips? YES!

Easy to fit handy extra storage

Lasted maybe a week then the zip broke. Don’t bother. Buy a better one. Two stars because the idea is good and it fit some stuff in for the week I used it. But it’s not a good quality.
