At last a real old fashioned poacher that works just like my Mom used to use. I tried the micro-wave plastic based poachers and all they did was explode the eggs when the small amount of water super heated. This original aluminum light weight pan comes with a glass see through lid way is controlled, simple and easy and 2 coated poaching cups. It makes perfect poached eggs. ! add a squirt of olive oil to help them flop on to my plate. I have the 2 egg poacher. The pan has a water line. Fill, boil and cook. Really like this one! (Trashed the exploding plastic one!). Came in a nice cardboard box.

Great pan. Stainless parts with Teflon coated egg cups. (I still coat them with butter or similar) Easy to clean. Clear cover lets you see cooking progress. The cover has a small vent hole so it doesn't get steamed up Water depth is marked on the pan for best depth.

Pros: quick, perfect poached egg. Can walk away and takes no real work. Can also leave on for longer if you want more hard boiled with fraction of the time of boiling pot of water Cons: all minor - but the handle and everything get so hot. Some water seems to always boil into egg cup.

Just enough room for my two eggs for breakfast. I’m the only one in my family who eats them poached, so great value for the money. The non stick surface keeps the eggs sliding out without help when they are cooked. Works well and easy to use and clean.

Nicer then I thought it would be. a bit difficult to take the egg cup out when is hot but eggs cook well and quickly. Perfect at 3 minutes nice runny yolk and white all cooked.

It works fine and is easy to use. But, be careful because the lid does not fit the pot perfectly so steam escapes around the edge of the lid instead of exiting through the steam exit hole in the lid. This poses a risk for burning your hand. The handle of the pot is all metal so that too gets hot to the touch. The egg cups work fine especially if you put a bit of butter or oil in each one before filling with eggs.. The product comes with a tiny plastic spatula which seems unnecessary since you can just lift the egg cups and turn them over onto a plate to release the eggs. I use silicone tipped tongs to lift the lid off the pan and to lift the egg cups out of the pan when the eggs are cooked.

I bought this egg poacher for my induction stove and it works perfectly, it’s built with quality materials like stainless steel, I would recommend it to anybody, I am very happy with it.

Fine piece of equipment,very well made and poaches eggs without sticking to the cups every time. Would recommend. Good for gas or electric cooker.

I’ve had varying results over the years but this pan was super easy to use and produced perfectly poached eggs. I would definitely recommend it. I boiled for just under 4 minutes.
