Perfect fit, fast shipping
I am handy and I ordered this part to replace a defective on on my Maytag Washer. Perfect fit, fixed the leaking old part. Just be aware that it was tricky to get to this part on my particular washing machine, a quick internet search found a good YouTube video that showed me the “trick” to release the hidden clips, piece of cake after that

It is exactly like the original part
This Water Inlet Valve was purchased for a Maytag MTW5821TW0 washing machine. Other than color, it looks and works exactly like the original one. The water outlet hose and electrical connectors fit fine. It is a little difficult to install, but that is the fault of the washing machine design. Pay attention to the orientation of the original one. It is possible to install these things upside down.

We had a water leak inside our washer and replaced this valve and it fixed the issue. Easy to install without instructions. Common sense works best.

It is good to know there are replacement parts available. my old valve was cracked and leaking.My wife said lets just get a new washer, but I knew there would be a cheaper way around it now it works perfectly and I don't have to go to the laundry mat anymore thanks.
