If you've never had this kind of tea before then the name may be enough to scare you away, but I would recommend everyone to try it out anyways because this is a super great flavor that I wish more people knew of. It has a very nice pleasant, almost oatmeal like flavor to it, which may sound bad, but I swear it's a lot better than it sounds. I use two teabags in a standard cup and I quite like the strength it produces, it isn't too strong or too weak that way.

First off I am now addicted to this tea I really love it. It has a slightly nutty almost faint peanutty taste. Now that said the amount of tea in the bag is about half of your average English tea. That's not a bad thing but since it is a very mild tea if you put it in a larger cup it will taste very watery. I have put cup size examples in my photos along with a comparison of the tea amounts. So use a regular sized cup instead. The shipping was early and there are 40 bags of tea. I have bought my 3rd box of this tea and I really like it!

This buckwheat tea is delicious, such a comforting flavor. It helps me feel so relaxed at bedtime and I feel the effect on my gut health as well.

Tea is bland, not the rich flavor I’d hoped for. But you get what you pay for. This was cheap compared to the higher end brands. One charged $1.00 a teabag or $100 for 100 teabags! It’s tea!

After systematically ordering and comparing 9 different buckwheat teas, this one was headed in a good direction but too weak. On other hand, at this price you can double bag and still come out ahead. You might consider Immortalitea instead, or spring for the Senbird (loose tea).
