I Spy Treasure Hunt: A Book of Picture Riddles

Bought these because I loved I spy as a kid. Still as great as they were then!

I am so happy I got these. I already had "I Spy Spooky Nights" from a couple years ago, I ordered it because it was my favorite one to read and look at as a kid. I used to go to the library at my school and check this book out ALL THE TIME! One day acouple years ago, it just popped into my head and I was stoked to get it (: I read it to my almost year old all the time, now. So, for his upcoming birthday that's a little over a week away, I ordered 3 more of these books for him as gifts. Let me tell you, I can't WAIT to read and look at these with him (: (okay, I got them more for me than for him, but he loves bedtime storytelling and I know he'll grow to love the riddles and picture puzzles, as well. Anyway, so I got the books yesterday, and today, I put on this movie I picked up at a yard sale (I have a VHS video tape collection I started when I was pregnant, mostly old Disney Classics, but pretty much any great movie I remember from my own childhood, I have) anyway, I found an "I Spy" movie awhile back, and decided to pop it in today.. it's all about the behind the scenes of how they put these books together. I was a little apprehensive to watch it, cause I didn't want it to ruin what childhood excitement I had for the boks, but it totally didn't! I have a whole new respect for these books and the creators after seeing the amazing detail, time and love they put into these books. For, and inspired by children. So great ♡

I usually do a “theme” for Christmas gifts for my adult children (37-42 yrs old) and last year I went nostalgic. I bought some games from their “good old days” and this book was one of the gifts. In Christmas past you always found a group around the books trying to find the hidden objects. This year I wasn’t disappointed! Within minutes of opening the gifts as I was speaking to my son he pointed to his wife and kids huddled on the sofa trying to find the hidden objects. It was a favorite that year!

Loved this book when I was young and now so does my two year old.

This book is just what I expected! Colorful, created with unlimited fantasy, motivating reader, - small or old, - to immerse to childhood dreams, developing kids' abilities to see and find small objects among huge diversity of objects.

Funny story. I got this for my biological mother. Long story short.. we happen to work together and I found a recording device that she left at my desk.. I got her nosey butt this for her birthday as a subtle gift. I do remember these from elementary and middle school. Loved them!

This book might be a bit too intense for a four-year-old. He was thrilled to get it, but he was bummed that he couldn’t figure it out! Haha, I did return it, and it was super easy to return. They were really helpful. I ended up buying another I Spy book that was a bit simpler for him.

Great book that keeps a 5 year old entertained.

Amazing books! Loved them as a child and my child loves them too! Super fun to read with kids.

On nous a donné un autre livre "I Spy" dans cette série et on a adoré. Celui-ci est plus difficile, mais tout aussi amusant. Livres vraiment exceptionnel.

This was a purchase to replace one I bought before and was borrowed but never returned. Great book for children. I use it in language classes.

I spy books are a lot of fun for kids, and are a GREAT language learning tool for 2nd languages.
