It works.
I haven't used this that much, I'll re-edit this if issues occur, but for now, I'm giving it a good rating. Simply put I needed a soldering iron, my old one died and I couldn't find replacement tips. I solder and fix things more as a hobby, increasingly I have to deal with SMD stuff, I thought I'd get something that has a blower too. This is compact (all though larger than just a single soldering iron). It comes with spare parts and a tube of flux and some wound copper wire and several tips. Soldering iron took a few minutes to heat up. Mainly bought this because it was cheaper and I could get same day shipping. This is the first soldering "station" I've ever used, I always just used a soldering iron that plugged directly into the socket. I'll be happy as long as this continues to turn on and not catch on fire when in use.

Fantastic for a starter kit!
Absolutely great combo for a starter. I moved away from a wall corded iron to this adjustable iron and it worked great. The handle on the iron is comfortable, comes with a selection of thin point to flat iron tips for whatever application you are soldering. It does heat up quickly so that is a plus, and the quality of the base is great. Make sure you read the instructions if you can, there are some helpful tips that you will need to know since the digital screen only display the temp and a flashing little dot that will be key.

HAZARDOUS PRODUCT!!
This is not even the same product as pictured that i received!! The item pictured is white and i got a black one. I thought i was receiving some sort of upgraded 2020 version or something and this thing actually started smoking up in my hand when i followed the LIMITED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS TO A TEE!! Now this thing does not even work right and has partially melted. Im stuck with it for a few more days before i am able to return it. It is a HAZARDOUS PRODUCT AND COULD HAVE MELTED MY ENTIRE HOME AND DID MELT MY CARPET AND TABLE. Mine is pretty much halfway melted already. And remember it is not the attractive white one!! Smh.

Goog for beginners
Easy to setup, also can use different soldering iron, has a sleep mode for the heat gun, a good purchase for beginners in pcb soldering.

was working good
Mine after about 6 months the front display stopped working completely and when turned on the hot air gun blower fan is only thing that works . I was happy with it until then . Transformer just makes buzzing sound now when you try to turn on .

A great value and extremely functional.
Sets like this can cost up to 4 times this, so it's stunning how affordable this one is. I've used it extensively so far for repairing an old tube preamplifier, probably about 90% soldering iron and 10% heat gun (only for heat shrink wrap at this time). It excelled at both jobs: the soldering iron is a small and easy to hold handle, but heats quickly and holds its temperature well. The iron setting can go up to 480ºC but keeping it on or about 360-380 was a good balance of speed and heat needed for lead-free silver solder. I bumped it higher once for a larger component that wasn't heating up, and it responded quickly and worked great. The heat gun worked fine around the 110ºC I used just for heat shrink tubing: it heated instantly, and the airflow adjustment was easy and smooth. I haven't tried it at higher temperatures for reflowing joints or desoldering; I prefer the iron and a solder sucker for the small jobs I usually encounter. I would expect it would work, but the inclusion of a spare heating element does make me think it might be prone to burning up on occasion—make sure you keep the airflow high when on high heat. That said, it's really awesome to have around even just for heat-shrink tubing, especially if you don't have (or want) a separate heat gun.Another thing I like: it has a transformer and provides DC, and is grounded. I feel more comfortable with that than 110V ungrounded straight into the iron, but in practice it probably doesn't matter much. The real advantage here is the nice control over temperature and quick heating. It also looks pro in the white case with blue LED segments. Very nice overall, I'm impressed.
