Xiancai Headlamps Rechargeable, Head Torch, 5 Modes, White & Red LEDs, 120LM, Water Resistant - Black

Bought several Petzl's over the years, mainly AAA powered ones but the last one was rechargeable & it was OK for 18 months or so but when the battery finally died the replacement battery came in at around £28 + postage , that only lasted a further year so I grabbed one of these instead. Wife uses it every night for 2/3 hours when messing around with her Pony & it's an absolute bargain for the price, on par with the Petzl Tikka 2 it replaced for brightness & 75% cheaper than the stand alone battery.

Bought in May 2019 and used on a 3-week safari. It worked really well and I found the adjustable levels very good. However, when I took it on another safari recently, the on/off switch broke off the internal mounting. This left no way of turning the light off.On the plus side, the re-chargeable battery has a very long life (it worked for 36 hours after the switch broke) and also the whole unit is very light and comfortable. On the other hand I was left without a headlight for the whole of my second trip. I won't risk buying another from this maker.

pre review as just received haven't even fully charged. after trying it out quickly content got what needed: smal lightweight rechargeable headlight for outdoor running .. red mode be useful too .. as like red for when training eyes to the dark environment.. one thing noticed which is surplus that it has memory mode.. last mode was used it will switch back to it.. even if used red.. dimmed white.. will come back on to previous light mode.. as so small will carry when running and cycling...will see how it perform.. so will updatesep 2019update after using over the few months.not the brightest out there but perfectly serviceable. can be ysed for jogging or anything else where wxtra brightness isn't required. it is extremely in small size so can be carried everywhere..added small patch of black eva fiam to the back as can be felt in uncomfortable side as non provided which is common.opened it up to check battery capacity which is 800mah but that will last long as bid is small and 3 white power settings are there..overall good as a tiny little led head torch with usb recharge memory mode and very bright 2 red leds.Would recommend ...

Fantastic for the price. I've had some very expensive headlamps for night beach fishing and these are just as good.I ended up buying 5 in total for family camping trips. They charge fast and I haven't had any issues with them. I'm going to 3d print a custom bracket and use them for on my bike next as the light can be detached from the headband mount.

Good spread of light and very bright. Camping in Namibia where it was pitch black it was brilliant. I saw reviews saying not bright enough, well it lit up everything we needed and you could walk or run around with a huge pool of light in front. Comfy to wear, perfect. Charging in vehicle was a breeze which we did every 4 or 5 days although it never actually ran out.

For the money it seems excellent, it's light in weight and comfortable to wear. It throws a good amount of useful light. Three main beam light settings and two red beam settings (on or flashing). Dunno about the battery life I've only just got it. It's easy enough to charge with a red light showing while charging and a green light when charged. So far I'm pleased with it.

I bought this for running at night. The description says these weigh 20g. This is a lie. They weigh 50g (33g without the strap), so I bought them under false pretences. Still better than any of the alternatives and they are very good otherwise, although the strap at max size is just too small. Only 1 star because of the lie.

Affordable, and white light is good; bright. Red light is too faint for me. Charge off USB will last about 2 hours.
