Combines form and function well
4.5 stars rounded up (for now, we'll have to see about durability). Looks and feels nice and is available in a wide range of attractive colors. I chose the hushed green for something understated but still elegant, and the official photos are true to color. While traveling, I don't carry many cards so I put in 6 to test, with a few slips of paper and coins in the zippered pocket, a little cash in the boarding pass sleeve (you can put a boarding pass there if you don't mind it sticking out of the wallet), a SIM card, and an International Driving Permit in the passport pocket. It closes easily and firmly (see second pic), and though it does feel bulky when I add my passport, which is twice as thick as the US ones, and my iPhone 8, it still closes (third pic). An iPhone 13 or bigger does not fit, so if you have one and you're looking for something like a clutch for a night out, this probably won't work for you, but if for travel, it shouldn't matter since most people are constantly holding/using their phones instead of putting them away in a wallet anyway. Some other things I liked were that even though one side of the IDP does get a little bent because it sticks out, the wallet still closes fine; cards slide in and out very smoothly of the slots (a little harder to pull out on the left side slots) but don't fall out; the SIM card slot is BRILLIANT, but just make sure you insert it vertically as pictured, not horizontally - I tried that and had to use tweezers to fish it out again lol; the wrist strap is convenient and comfortable though a little long for me. A downside about the strap is that as you can see, the hook for the strap stays open all by itself. Because it doesn't automatically close, when opening or closing it, I always have to make sure to squeeze it shut, which is a pain. I'm always a little concerned it's not actually closed. Also, the lever hurts :\ However, the strap is useful and I clip keys there when going about daily errands since I don't feel the wallet would close well if you put a bunch of keys in the key holder that's inside the wallet. Finally, there's a weird random circular indentation on the outside of the back of my wallet (last pic)??? I've checked multiple times and it's not a coin stuck on the other side or anything, so not sure what's going on unless crop circles have descended on my wallet, but it's a minor cosmetic issue as of now. We'll see how the travel wallet holds up, but overall very satisfied with it for now.

Awesome travel wallet!!
Purchased this wallet for a recent work trip to overseas as my primary wallet did not have RFID, and it turned out to be a home run. Very nice cognac brown color with a finish similar to saffia leather, and the material did not scratch or scuff at all despite being stuffed into my full bags. The way the wallet is organized is great too - plenty of space for my passport, cards, cash, boarding and metro passes, etc., without getting too bulky. The wrist strap was also convenient for carrying it as a wristlet. All of the closures, pockets, and zippers are easy to operate and held everything in nicely even when held upside down. It also comes in a wide variety of colors - Iโm considering purchasing the black as well. I think any traveler would be super happy with this wallet!

My go to wallet
I have a lot of brand named wallets, but this is my favorite. I bought the previous version and it surprisingly has stayed in pretty good condition after using it for an entire year. Sometimes I use it on it's own or carry it in my purse. I purchased this new version because there are more card slots and a wrist strap. After receiving the wallet, it is a little longer than the old one but it still looks good.

Perfect travel wallet with new updates
Love this wallet! I have the old version and have to say the new updates were worth buying the new version. (Iโve included pictures of the old version in plum with this new product in black for reference) This fits 2 passports versus the old one could only fit 1. It now has 4 card slots on the left and still includes the pocket to slip in plane tickets/receipts. And now I can even fit my phone in it. I have an iPhone 6s with a case and a pop socket attached and I had no problems slipping it in and out of the phone compartment. The wallet could easily close and stay closed versus some wristlets I have. The material is like having saffiano leather so durable and I donโt have to worry about scratches. For travel, this is the perfect wallet and even just as a wristlet it works perfectly! Glad I got the updated one.

Perfect for our France Trip
Does its job, works as advertised, holds dollars and Euros, and passport, credit cards, boarding pass, and change. I usually use a more minimal wallet, but purchased this for a two-week trip to France. It worked perfectly, just as advertised, as a wallet in my purse, or a clutch to carry around town or through the airport with passport and boarding pass in hand. Sturdy, well-designed, and not hideous. I'm glad I made this purchase, and will continue to use this product. Recommend.

Embossed labels are key for making this functional
Iโve been watching this item for about a year waiting for the price to go down... but I wasnโt convinced that this would solve my purse problem until I opened it and transferred my edc to this travel wallet. Iโm impressed with the quality of the wallet, The card slots are exactly enough for my needs but Iโve been trying to get down to the essentials so this wouldnโt work for someone who needs to carry multiple cards beyond this. The carry strap clip arrived broken but I donโt need to use it so I wouldnโt count on that if the wristlet is important to you. The file system in this wallet is intuitive and easy to navigate through in a hurry plus the wallet isnโt too big to feel as though you are showing the world your private life if you pay for something. I recommend this wallet over several high end quality brands I own because of the organisation system and the stitching quality.

Good, useful product, but could still use improvement
Grateful to have had the opportunity to try and review the newest Zoppen travel wallet (version 5 - black); I received the previous version (version 4 - wine) as a gift and used it on a trip to Australia last year and found it to be useful so I was anxious to see what the new version would be like. This newest version has two differences from the previous version; it's bigger so it can fit a larger size cell phone and it has a strap so you can easily carry it like a wristlet/clutch. I like the addition of the strap as it makes it easier to carry and slightly more secure when carrying it alone and not in a purse. It doubles as a clutch for evenings when you only want to carry minimal items. I appreciate the RFID protection and the eco-friendly leather is durable and easy to maintain. My issues are with functionality. I love that there is a space for just about everything you need - passport, cash, cards, boarding pass, phone, and even a zippered compartment for coins. However, if you use each available space for all your items, the wallet becomes very tight and hard to use. I understand that they wanted to keep a slim profile, which I appreciate, but if you can't get things in/out without a struggle, then I'm not a happy traveler. I really was excited about this new version being able to hold a large cell phone. I have the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and my phone does fit in the designated space, but it ONLY fits WITHOUT the case - and I have the thinnest Otterbox case available. I don't know many people that use their phones without a case these days, so that was already a fail since it doesn't fit without the case. I'm not going to travel without a cellphone case so that part of the wallet is now useless for me. BUT, if I did want to carry my phone in this wallet without the case, I still would not feel comfortable doing so because the space for the phone is at the bottom of the wallet. If you fully open the wallet and let it hang down in front of you, your phone will most likely fall out of the pocket. You can only avoid this by opening the wallet on a flat horizontal surface and that may not always be convenient. The opening for the cell phone and the zipper pouch should be on the opposite side so things don't fall out when the wallet is fully open vertically. And that's another thing - if you put your cell phone in the designated spot (behind the zippered pouch), you can barely get your finger tips into the zippered pouch - so the pouch is basically useless. The addition of some pleats would help avoid this tightness by expanding and allowing some extra give in these areas. Better still, I liked putting my phone (again, only WITHOUT the case) where the passports are supposed to go. That is a much more secure (when opening the wallet) and accessible area - but again, it makes getting the credit cards out of the slots a little tight (and I'm not sure about demagnetizing issues), but it's manageable. But if you put your phone where the passports go then your passport has to go in the cell phone pocket which again, may fall out if the wallet is fully opened vertically - although a passport is probably more secure in that area than a phone because of its weight. I also don't see a reason for a SIM card slot - maybe it's just me, but I don't travel with a spare so the space seems unnecessary and maybe the space for the ID and cards could be made slightly larger. As much as I appreciate the effort of what this wallet is trying to do, I think more can be done to make it more efficient (not as tight when full) and also safer for our expensive/irreplaceable items (placement of phone/passport pockets). Since I won't be able to use the wallet with my cell phone, I will not have the issues mentioned above and it will be a more than fine daily use wallet as well as travel wallet, like the previous version was... except now I have the strap. Thank you, Zoppen.

Perfect travel wallet
Really happy with this wallet. Used it through multiple airports, several cities/countries in Europe, and throughout a 14 day cruise. It fit 2 passports, a good bit of cash, a few cards, and other odds and ends. Its durable, user-friendly, and fit perfectly in my cross-body bag. I really like the material - hard to scratch and water-proof. Would definitely recommend this wallet to anyone traveling but not so much as an every-day wallet as the card space is pretty limited.

So handy
Fits 2x AUS passport, decent amount of cash, cards and tickets. As you can see in my photos, the wallet with all the necessary stuff closes perfectly. I had this with me throughout my trip and it really had my sanity intact because I knew everything I needed was in this so I only had to keep my eyes on this. International Drivers License doesn't fit snuggly, but you can still have it in there if you don't mind bending the IDL a bit.

Great for Travel or Every Day Use
Like the colour I chose which was a bright aqua blue. Seems to hold everything that it says in the product description. The only thing I didn't like was I had to cancel our vacation due to Covid-19! I wanted to use it for a travel date in April / May of 2020 that did not happen :( but wallet is great.

Can hold quite a number of items
Itโs a bit large, but does fit in a bag, or the inner pocket of a jacket.

Smart affordable travel wallet option
What is not to like? Colour options, RFID, space for multiple items necessary when you are travelling and at a great reasonable price. Love the wrist strap and I went for a red so I could easily spot it in my bag and not give myself heart palpitations trying to find it.

Liked it - may look for other colours
Just recently used this wallet on a trip and overall, it worked well as both a wallet and as a clutch. Nice and thin even with all of my cards, money & passport inside, plus the detachable strap was convenient to have when converting to a clutch. Was also able to fit my Samsung phone inside (without its case though). The only thing that would take it to the next level is a spot for a lipstick tube - to be fully useful as a clutch.
