I have used this for years when I get little burns when cooking. It works so well that it makes you wonder if you actually were burned. It has a strong peanut smell, so I wonder if there's peanut oil in there. Seems important to note in case someone has an allergy. But I cannot read the ingredients so I am not positive that is what I am smelling. I will always keep this in my medicine cabinet!

No 1st aid kit is truly complete w/o this ointment! I've used it both as a clinician & a mom of 5. Soothes pain on contact, helps minimize risk of infection for cuts, scrapes & burns. However, its most amazing properties include that it accelerates wound/burn healing; minimizes & sometimes eliminates scarring (the Traditional Chinese Medicine Materia Medica, lists "generates flesh" among the properties of several of the main herbs in the formula). I keep a jar each in my kitchen; 1st aid & travel kits; at least one tube in: every bathroom at home; every treatment & exam room at clinic; in my purse; granddaughter's diaper bag; and placed in a Leakproof Bag [or small container] in a cooler for trips to beach or park in summer. "Downsides:" it smells like sesame seed oil & "medicinal" Chinese herbs (logical, since those are the main ingredients). After decades of use, I'm accustomed to the way it smells; but many "Westerners" find the smell off-putting. However, after dispensing thousands of tubes over decades, every patient has agreed that the smell is well worth the benefits! In fact, over time, many come to LIKE the smell [!!] because they associate it with quick relief, rapid healing, and minimized scarring. The other downside is that due to the consistency of the ointment, it tends to liquefy if stored much above room temperature, and can "seep" out between the threads of the tube cap/jar lid. This product works instantly to dissipate the pain from a burn. It is highly effective at stopping the pain immediately and the pain does not come back. Great when you are cooking and accidentally burn yourself, nothing else is as effective at removing the sting. Can also use for a sunburn yet reapplication will be necessary for sunburn.

This is an amazing formula for burns, cuts, and any skin problem. I have used it for 30 years in more situations than I can count. Every household should have it on hand. I have treated 3rd degree burn with it and no scarring.

I see NO VALUE in this product

This is my second jar of this burn balm. I keep it in the kitchen in case of burns. Last year I burned my arm in a large area. I immediately applied this. Pain was gone instantly. The burn healed quickly with no blisters or redness. My brother-in-law burned his foot badly--I gave him this balm after he had tried many things. He got immediate pain relief and it healed well. Needless to say, he ordered a jar. I feel this is miracle burn salve and belongs in every house. The shipping was fast, thank goodness.

Someone requested me to buy this after they ran out of burn ointment. After using it for some time, I can say that it is nice to keep around the house and can really help ease the pain of burning yourself. Especially when you accidentally burn yourself on a hot plate while cooking

I’m a mechanic and ride motorcycles I get burnt a lot but the trip to the doctor the fee all just for some silver sulphate cream is not cool so someone suggested this and it works even for the burn pain that gets the muscle IT WORKS !!!
