304 Stainless Steel Wire Cable Vinyl Coated, Outdoor Light Guide Wire, Suitable 1/16 Inch Overmolded to 3/32 Inch 200FT

I bought backyard lights, the big edison ones. I know I can use those as is, but I wanted a more permanent sturdy support for the lights. Bought 2 of these rolls. They are perfect! It is easy to cut, it is coated, so it will not rust, easy to manage. I'll add photos later... writing my review via my PC and photos in phone :-)

Worked great for a dog run for the back yard. Small dog. Probably not heavy enough for a bigger dog but this worked great to keep our guy in the yard but still able to explore.

Good quality cable, very strong and easy to work with. We stretched it between chain link fence extension arms in direct sun and wind, and it's holding the tension well. It was kinda hard to cut, but I suppose that's a good thing. We'll see how it hold up to the elements, but don't expect a problem.

Couldn’t find anything comparable at the big box home stores locally for less than twice the cost—and it was even a smaller diameter wire than this. Coated Stainless wire was just what we needed to reinforce stings of outdoor lights for our backyard. We are very pleased with the quality and value for the money. My only complaint is there weren’t enough clamps for future projects. Will need to purchase extra.

Used this cable to support a mesh canopy. The reinforced eyelets on the canopy allowed the canopy to droop when installed on J-Hooks. But using 6 rows of vinyl cable on the J-Hooks and laying the canopy on top of the cables eliminates any sag or drooping. Tighten similar to a guitar string being careful not to pull the roof framing away unless it is reinforced. Since the canopy is mesh it allows rain to drain through, otherwise use a thicker cable to support unexpected weight. Or install one end at a higher angle to allow drainage.

I purchased this to replace my old clothes line. I was concerned when I first looked at it , it just seemed so thin but after hanging my sheets and blankets out to dry it works great. Trying to figure out ways to cut my electric bill down…

The cable is 1/16" but the insulation is thinner than advertised. I had to return it due to it is not suitable for outside use where the coating would just peel in a few months in the sun. I wouldn't trust the crimp to be as strong as intended because of this. The supplied ferrules are garbage thin also which are useless for a standard crimp tool I already own. Wouldn't want to have to go buy a china made crimp tool to accommodate this junk. See pictures for the side by side comparison of the supplied ferrule vs an actual 3/32 ferrule.

I purchased this product to support my grape vines in a 1' X 1' grid pattern on a trellis. This wire rope is very easy to handle. Appears to be very strong to support the weight that's needed. (after I get grapes - lol). Thank You

I used this wire to stabilize a purple martin house installed on a pole. You put just a little tension and the wire breaks. It would be ok to hook up lights like you see in the advertisement as long as you do not stretch the wire tight!
