As a dialysis RN sometimes I struggle with getting tubing apart. My coworker said these were helpful & they have come in handy numerous times.

This is my 3rd pair of these hemostats and the only reason I have had to buy new ones is I keep losing them at work! They are wonderful, I will re-buy this brand as long as they are around. Works great for unscrewing difficult IV tubing. Fits in my scrub pocket and easy to use. Love the fun colors too!

I too was fooled by the picture and thought the package contained 3 but it looks like the 'photo' issue was corrected. This was my own fault for not reading the reviews or the description carefully. While the construction of these looks good, I have a minor issue with them. They were sent with the clamp in the "locked" position. Like any locking forceps they should never be stored this way as it will eventually degrade the ability of the forceps to close properly without the lock snapping in. The pair I received were locked and once unlocked, the tips of the clamp do not touch before the lock tips touch. This reduces the feedback sense of touch when grabbing thin-edged items. I am using these for model building (Metal Earth) and don't need the lock so I am filing them down to create a larger gap between the locking tips. I could return them, but for my needs, they are acceptable.

We bought this hemostat to help put on rubber bands for braces. It was impossible for my teen to get the bands on with her fingers and the plastic tool the Ortho gave us. They use a hemostat in the office, so we grabbed this one. Makes it a lot easier. The rubberized handles make them easy to grip. They are "small" which is good. They look larger on the picture. I bought 8" hemostats too just in case, but we only have used this pair. Really good quality and a very, very good price.

I have bought forceps from other companies that were difficult to open or clamp. These work smoothly, no problems and when someone at work borrows them at work and forgets to return them, the color makes them easy to track down and get them back, LOL.

Bought the hemastat for my dad to use for the tiny rubber band placements on the posts in his jaw, after he broke his jaw. They were exactly what I was looking for. You need the long handle and something to hang on to the band while you place it on the posts (to keep the jaw healing in proper position). I had used one myself when I had jaw surgery a few years ago. Dad is 85 and had a lot of trouble with the bands, but it is the right tool for the job.

Ordered for my fiance since her favorite color is purple. It's kinda open considering what it's being used for, but definitely worth the price!

Absolutely my favorite forceps. I use these daily to unscrew too tight IV connections, tubing, etc or wherever an extra grip or hand is needed. I love that they come in a variety of colors (for personal identification). I am constantly disinfecting my own (I carry 2 in my scrub pocket each shift) and they are holding up fine. I've had other forceps which were heavier and really just didn't get the job done. These are thin, lightweight and have a nice grip on them. No complaints or regrets!

had these for a while now and there still doing great. I use them for paracord gear from readytogear[dot com] and even after putting lots of pressure pn them and twisting them many many times they are still in perfect working condition. (i say working condition because the green on the handle has scratches but that is just normal wear and tear.)great forceps and much better then many i've purchased in the past.will be getting more soon.

Very happy with purchase. They lock well, hold well, and survived quite a few flame sterilizations. And the teal color is a nice change ;)The color did flake a little bit where they lock, but that was only for the firsts uses. And it was very little.

They are a little stiff for my liking but work well for what I need them for. I'm a dog groomer and use then for plucking ears and removing ticks. The colour is very cute!
