Carfidant Premium Rim Reactor Wheel Cleaner - 9 oz.

I just got a new car and decided I needed something to protect the clear coat and the paint. I debated taking the car to one of those dealers that put on an extra clear coat sealer, but time and finances, plus wanting to do it myself, brought me to buy this product. Like most people I've used all the different waxes and liquids from all the major brand names over the years. I always found them to be less than perfect. Either they required a lot of elbow grease or an orbital polisher which left swirl marks. Not to mention all the chalky white residue they left behind. I decided to give this product a chance based on the reviews and found they are accurate. The liquid wax went on easier than other products I've tried and left an extremely light almost transparent residue which was easy to wipe off. No hard buffing or elbow grease required. Best of all no chalky white residue in the cracks, although I would keep it off of plastic trim pieces just in case. The final results seems to give the car a kind of silky luster. It's not a "gee-whiz I suddenly have wet paint" look, but rather, it seems to add another layer of protection to the clear coat with a satisfying and solid looking shine. I was happy with the ease of use putting it on and getting it off. Also pleased with the look and protection it gives to the clear coat finish. I recommend washing the car with one of the new car shampoo products, several buckets of water, microfiber sponge and drying cloths. I also used a clay bar for the first time and it did pick up some small bits of Gunk which was on the car. I then applied the ultimate car wax and the result was great with no scratches. The picture doesn't do it justice but you can see the reflection of the garage light bulb off the windshield and the hood of the car which has a mirror like finish. I'm going to order the plastic trim cleaner and see how well that works. All in all a great product and I recommend it to new or used car owners.

I received it today and I can’t believe how good it clean the rims of my ford 350 dually. I also used it to clean the steps and chrome and it sparkles! Best product ever! I wished I took pictures now ….

Not bad. Needs about 1/2 a bottle per wash for all 4 wheels and calipers. It does work but you need to use so much to work it only last 2 washes.

Product does not work. I have brend new GMC wheels 1 month old. Followed instructions exactly. Rinsed off and dried with air. I can easily wipe the dust off with my finger. Also in the box, there was a card to scan if I had problems. They said they would let me keep this wheel cleaner free of charge and buy me my own brand I like. No one ever got back to me. Do not buy. Bad customer service.

We got this to help on a vehicle we were selling. I noticed a unique smell, my wife when she came outside asked who dumped. It was strong smelling. It works…mostly. The color changing properties don’t. I didn’t get mine to turn purple. Maybe I can’t point, spray and wait. However with a drill attachment it did clean…some. Not overly impressed but it did clean some…with help. In their defense, we were using it to get off some coating on the rims we were cleaning. It seemed to be a mixture of brake dust and various other who knows. It almost looked or acted like a plastic-dip but it was under some covers and it was on my mom’s car. She doesn’t know what that product is let alone would use it. She was 78. It cleaned the rims enough to looked pretty good and we sold the car a day later. Due to this cleaner…maybe…they never commented on the rims but I thought they looked fairly good. We will see what it does to my truck and jeep.

Carfidant has been known for product quality for years with their iron removers. Rim Reactor is probably the strongest, best cleaning iron remover that they make. It's the color pink in the bottle but turns a dark purple color when it comes in contact with iron. I've cleaned wheels with Rim Reactor that no other cleaner has touched. This stuff is highly effective. It can be diluted 4:1 for light cleaning or used full strength for tough stains and iron deposits. I normally dilute it 1:1. The dilution ratio makes the cost of the gallon size worth the money spent. I get 2 gallons for the price of 1. My gallon jugs have never arrived leaking. Everything is always packaged well. I'll post a Pic of an old aluminum wheels on a 2005 Mazda pick-up that I recently detailed. The owner stated that they have tried everything. I sprayed the wheel with Rim Reactor , let it dwell for 3 minutes, and then sprayed it again. There were huge iron deposits on it, one being on the right side near the center cap. It washed right off with soap and a microfiber towel after Rim Reactor had done it's work. This is amazing stuff. We'll worth the money spent. As a professional detailer, I'll be adding Rim Reactor as a permanent part of my cleaning arsenal. ( first pic is before, you can see Rim Reactor working. The second Pic is the iron free wheel. )
