😃 It's something that I was looking for. Although its been a while since I've practiced art, and hands known to be very difficult to draw, these hands serve more purpose than just art. They are light and feel like they can break easily. They can break easily with too much force but mine are still intact. The joints on the fingers move just like a real hand all but the knuckles. No side movement there unfortunately. The wrists can move too rather limited there but do maintain a pose. Good simple craftsmanship they can certainly be better but im not complaining at all. Good for drawing, scketching anime probably better use there. Or If you like to get ideas also if you're like me. For the price too well worth it.

About actual size, these models are great for poses, gestures, etc. Hands are a bit easier to draw with these. Just wish the palms were bendable too.

These hand models are excellent. I don't make New Year's Resolutions. But I have committed to drawing hands for the year 2023 until I can become more proficient and confident. A year of drawing hands! It has already and quickly made a difference in my drawings. I try to draw each hand position at least twice without shifting my position in the chair, so I can see the development gained from the first attempt to subsequent efforts. Very cool!

These modeling hands are fairly well made. Problem is when you go to manipulate the fingers and thumb. They are severely restricted in their individual movement. The vendor photos are a tad misleading. Fingers go straight out only and the thumb is pretty much just along for the ride. Not acceptable for artistic modeling work.

My son attached these to an armor stand, made out of PVC pipes, that holds his EVA foam Clone Trooper costume. They fit nicely into gloves that are part of the costume and look like realistic fingers. He says he wishes that the fingers could also be splayed out, away from each other, but they still look great.

As decorations go, these are fun and generally pleasing. If you want to use them as an art tool, I suggest paying a bit more and getting something else. The thumbs are not well articulated and can’t be posed at any real extension, the fingers do not line up neatly, and moving them feels like a risk to the integrity of the construction. …But, they’re still really cute.

Its nice to know your money ia well spent. These arw durable and high quality. I have moved them without issue or fear they would break. So yeah...5 stars for sure.

My daughter is a great artist and she loves to draw hands. These models are easy to adjust. She was really excited to get these. If you have an artist they will like these!
