Worth the extra money
This is my THIRD card reader of this type. I was unwilling to spend the extra money on the first two, and purchased ones half the price here at amazon. I should have bought the apple product to begin with. One of the other readers only loads up sporadically, the other takes so long for the images to show up on the desktop, I usually just give up. This is FAST! (My first two were CableMatters and Zmuipng)

Transfer photos and files STRAIGHT from iPhone to as card!
This was a huge lifesaver! We went to Italy and I transferred all our photos onto a sd card every night just to make sure they were secure! Well after about two days I realized my iPhone had not been linking to iCloud and if I would’ve lost my phone or anything happened to it I wouldn’t have had not a single photo from Italy! Get this!
