What is the anti theft locking system? If Im reading it right, the pins are the keys ?

Yes , you use the "T" shaped key to lock & unlock

How do these "lock" for anti-theft? I did not see where a key is entered.

There's a key shaped like a " T " on the side of the latch once turned locks the mechanism . Instructions are included with the latch , you should have no problems installing them . I have already purchased a few of these and work wonders

Is there a way to get a new key made? We bought the car used and don't have the keys.

Not sure if you can just order keys you may have to replace to get the keys and other things
