Good quality, quick delivery, would buy again
Really happy with the Alps hot coppa. This is the kind of product I prefer to buy in person so I can see the quality (not all coppa is created equal), but it’s not easy stuff to find. Coppa is my favorite dry cured meat though and I wanted to serve it with thanksgiving charcuterie though so I pulled the trigger. It arrived much faster than Amazon predicted it would. It was packed in a bubble mailer which I thought was an odd way to do it, but it’s winter so no temperature worries here. This coppa has a kick to it, more than most hot coppas. It was really flavorful and well cured, with good fat to meat content and not a ton of gristle. Not the best I’ve ever come across but definitely worth the price and I will buy again, just not in summer unless I see it packed in a cooler between now and then. Note that like all coppa it needs to be sliced very thin, so have very good knife skills or a slicer, otherwise it will be tough and that ain’t the meats fault.

Delicious
Had this ham for the first time in a restaurant and had to find it and buy it. Product came pretty quickly. The ice packs it came with were melted completely but the package itself was in good condition. It didn’t sit outside as I retrieved it as soon as it was delivered. I opened it immediately and put ham in refrigerator. Sliced some of it and made the best sandwiches. I think I may do what other reviewer suggested and slice and freeze some of it as the best by date is not to far out and I’m not sure we can eat all of it by that date. I would recommend this product.

Good Coppa
I enjoyed this Coppa, it has great flavor just the right amount of fat and the meat was not dried out. I went and cut the whole thing up and thin slices. Put them on wax paper and wrapped them up in a plastic bag and stuck them in the freezer and I just take out one wax paper and let it thaw out and it's good to have. Looking forward to buy this again.

Good quality.
Flavor was great, half of Coppa was pretty fatty but that is what Coppa is like. Some are fatty some not. Overall B+.

Good this time
I ordered Sweet Coppa Alps 3 times. The first two times it was amazing - perfect coppa. The third time, though, the whole piece was all fat with just a little meat and the smell was funny. Still, remembering the first two orders, I am going to give it a try and order once more. (And keep yo posted.)I received the fourth order. This time it is good again. Mostly meat, a little fat.

Very bad conditions. Not edible!!!
This piece of coppa (cure meat to slice, typical Italian product) came in very bad conditions, bad smell and not edible. I had no choice than asking for a refund. Very disappointing.

Good, but with some concerns
First the good. The Coppa has a pleasant smokey flavor from the hot Paprika. From what I can see, the fat to meat ratio is nice, not over dominated with fat. The item is vacuumed shrink wrapped, over a plastic casing and cotton net material. Now for the bad. Besides being a bit pricey, it's probably still better than those 4-6 oz. pre-sliced packages you find sometimes in the store. The FedEx truck pulled up at 10 AM , and I'm glad they did. While the coppa was inside a thermal bag with 4 "ice packs" all were melted and around ambient temperature. No sign of any coolness whatsoever. It took two days to reach me, bypassing my state to go from Long Island NY to Memphis, TN then back me in VA. The company either needs to pack with more cooling (maybe freeze the coppa solid?) or ship overnight. Not sure I would have kept it if it had sat on the FedEx truck til 4PM, the actual scheduled delivery time. If you try this, you might want to do it during the winter months as added protection against the heat. Hot places year round, you take your chances. All cured meats have salt (and most have nitrates). This is VERY salty. You can taste it in just one small slice. I like salty, but this is close to my limit. If sodium is a big concern you may want to steer clear. I make my own beef jerky and corned beef with both salt and pink salt (nitrates) and it usually takes a few pieces before the salt thirst kicks in. You'll notice it right away with this coppa. One star off for the warm delivery. The other star off for value and rich salt content.

Will keep on hand so i dont run out.
Hard to describe how good this is . Just the right amount of "BITE". Best coppa ive ever had. If i didnt get gout at times I could have eaten in acouple of days. Will be reordering soon. Loved it!!!! Thank you. Had an ice pak in shipping and was still cool from New York to Oregon. Update:Just received my third one. Some advice to buyers. Dont tell your relatives you have this or they will make it disappear in short order. Mine surely did . At least they said thank you. Aahaa im not tellin them u have this one. Really good Copa.
