Is there a way to sync multiple strands of these lights so that the same color is showing at the same timing and the same sequence?

To sync multiple strains only use one of the remote white boxes. Disconnect all other "remote control white boxes"- you want to hook your strains of light together directly---with no "remote control white box" in between them. Ensure you begin your strain with one, only one, "remote control white box" nearest the plug-- in other words this needs to be plugged in to the very beginning of the light strain and then you connect your lights together. This will fix the issue.

Should i get one or two of these (105ft 300led) for a 6' to 7' christmas tree?

My tree is 7.5 and It was plenty for the tree.

Can you please explain the inconsistency between the plug on this product that says 'for dry location use only' and your ad that says waterproof?

I don't know if this will help, but the lights themselves seem to be fine outdoors in weather, but the plugs are not the outdoor sealed type. There are "sleeves" you can find to make the plugs more outdoor capable... Best use is for indoor trees, where you are using a typical wall outlet.
