Excellent item for the baker/bread maker.

I got this set to use while trying out the Ken Forkish method of mixing and baking bread. I used the 6-quart for my poolish, and the 12-quart for my dough. The tubs are of good quality, and the lids fit snugly, without being hard to remove. These things have a nice thump to them, and they feel like they will last forever. They look sort of industrial, but whatever. Are they a better value than the Chinese knock-offs? I have one of the knock-offs, and the knock-offs are good too. It is what it is. This particular item is convenient for offering both sizes you need for the Forkish method, and lids for both, in one convenient shopping option.

This is solid, we use it at least once a week for bread making.

The products are not what they promise since the material is not the same as in the picture, they are plastic and not polycarbonate as promised

This appears to be a Genuine Cambro product produced in the USA. Good quality and the lids fit properly. When I ordered a Cambro from Walmart they sent an off brand product that the lid didn't fit and I had to return it. I use these for prepping dough when making bread and they are perfect for this application.

I use these Cambro food storage containers for holding bread dough during its rise. It's easy to see how much the dough has risen because the quart levels are clearly marked. The Cambro containers are holding up well so far and are easy to clean. I recommend them.

I have used this product a few times to make bread and pizza dough. It's perfect for fermenting the dough and letting it rise. It's also very easy to clean.

These were not cheap but they are an excellent value. Mixing bread dough or preferment, these Cambros are excellent. I know how much it has risen simply by looking through the clear Polycarbonate. The lids seal and have a tab that pops the lid off. Polycarbonate is very clear and almost indestructible. Further, they are easy to clean and do not lose their clarity. Folding the dough is a snap in these Cambros. This is not just plain plastic although there are plastic Cambros. I got the Polycarbonate and paid but I repeat, it was a good value and I will have them for years and they will not age.

I should have read the several other 1 star reviews warning that this was not Polycarbonate despite the description and it photos claiming it is. Would not have paid this price for Polypropylene. False listing despite several previous complaints.

Came with "Reproductive harm" warning labels. Return has been initiated. I ordered these with the code from Ken Forkish's Flour Water Salt Yeast book. It's a great book for artisan bread, but unfortunately this product is not suitable.
