Almost perfect for cold weather running
I purchased these for running in the winter. Everyone's subjective experience is different but I'll share my thoughts on these gloves. First I wore them for a walk in about 35 degrees. After about 5 minutes my fingers were cold through the lightweight mitten. No good. I contemplated returning them right away. I held off to try them on a run. I'm glad I did. There's a bit of a pattern that's developed. Initially my fingers are cool but not cold. As the run progresses, my fingers warm up and if it's a "hard" run by the end I'm pulling off the mitten overlay to cool off a bit. For me these gloves are the goldilocks zone for cold weather running. If you're not generating your own heat through exertion, these likely won't work for you but while running these have worked for me anywhere from 40 degrees to 12 degrees the other morning. I'm happy I kept them.

Excellent
These are excellent gloves/mittens. Perfect for running and hiking. They are not for very cold (freezing) temperatures. Great for 40 degree days

Comfy and warm -- a little too warm!
Bought these for my winter training runs. I normally only wear gloves or mitts when it's 40s or below, and my other pairs don't really keep my hands warm for the first couple miles. Well these mitts are very soft, comfy, and warm -- actually too warm! They are good with wind protection, and I can wear them when temps are down into the teens or below! But after a mile, my hands begin to sweat in them. They do seem to wick the sweat away though. I like that I can open them up, because I always need to do that after my hands start sweating. They go through the washer and dryer just fine without any shrinkage. I would recommend these for temps in the teens or below if you have hands that sweat when you run.

Fantastic gloves - just what I was looking for!
I wanted some warm flip top gloves that I could use to keep my hands warm, but also get my fingers out quickly. These fit wonderfully, are warm and very convenient! Great buy!

Great for athletic or everyday use...
I've had several different brands of fingerless gloves. These are the best so far. I have been known to run in winter--finding something that can serve dual duty is a real plus. I also use these for everyday wear...but not if I were going to be out for several hours (Unless extremely active--like running). These are very comfortable. They are stretchy and flexible. The mitten flaps tuck in under the reflector strip (it rims the edge of a hidden "pocket") when not in use. The thumbs cling to the magnet when not in use. When you pull the mitten attachments on, they cover fully--no gaps. Also, they easily snap together when you aren't wearing them. Overall, I am extremely happy with these and recommend them. I will be purchasing them again in the future for myself and for Christmas gifts.

Lacking in comfort
Being a long term bird hunter, I’m very familiar with this type glove/mitten.Found them adequately warn for cool temperatures, how ever, would not holdup to severe weather.Tucking the mitten while not in use is somewhat cumbersome.

Great for Specific Needs
I've had these now for a few weeks and they work perfectly for what I need them for. I was looking for a pair of fingerless gloves that would keep my hands and fingers warm while playing Pokémon Go throughout the winter when I settled on these. So far, they work really well for what I bought them for. I usually am outside for between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours at a time and I have worn them in temperatures as low as 30 degrees with a real feel of 25 degrees with minimal numbing to my fingers (the palms of my hands didn't feel cold at all). If I keep the glove portion over my fingers the entire time I am out, I will feel a bit of numbing and cold, but I can still feel and move my fingers comfortably. If I alternate between having my fingers out and flipping the mitten portion back and forth (which I usually do with my right hand as I play the game), then the mitten part does a decent job of warming my fingers back up in between playing. I probably would not recommend these for temperatures below 25 degrees or low temperatures if you're standing still and not moving around. However, I love the fingerless glove aspect (and the thumb flap part), they look cool, and I use them every day when I go out with great success. They work really well for what I purchased them for!

Excellent design
These are great for cold temperatures and if you want to flip it open to use your fingers the back of the hand has a pocket to stuff it in so that it isn’t flopping around. The thumb has a magnet to hold it away.

These are great!
You get the best of both worlds - mittens and fingerless gloves, fingerless for fine detailed work and mittens when you would benefit from them!

Love love love
Love love love these gloves. Great material, really warm and love that you can remove the thumbs separately and that there are magnets not buttons or poppers!

Excellent
I need to use my phone for directions a lot and even with other gloves that cover the fingers and have touchscreen compatible finger tips, it’s still very clumsy. This design makes it super easy and the convertible design means you don’t get cold fingertips when covered. Price is a bit high maybe, but it’s been very durable this far so it’s worth it for me.
