I've had locs for almost 7 years and have over 200 locs. This swim cap conforms to the head and shapes around locs really well to allow for you to swim without worry of wetting your hair. It does require you to remove as much air out of it as possible and it'l; be trial and error with fitting your locs into it, but overall it gets the job done and you won't have too many worries with getting a good swim in. 1600yds at a time, and I haven't had any issues with it. Very good quality and accommodating for its use.

Worked great in the pool for his new twists. Looked great, too.

The edges are not as tight fitting so some water still gets under along the edges of my hair. However, for the most part it keeps the bulk of my Locs dry even when diving.

I was very excited about this cap, mostly because wash day is A LOT and I wanted to enjoy the pool without thinking about my hair afterwards. When initially put the cap on, all of my hair fit in there comfortably and it had a snug fit. I thought it would be perfect and I would get to take advantage of the rest of the summer. While in the pool I could feel the cap slipping back and I had to pull it back down several times. I thought since it happened while I was above water, no real harm had come. However, after taking the cap off I discovered my hair was very damp. Needless to say I was disappointed in the effectiveness of the cap and that dry hair after a day in the pool or beach was not a reality with this cap. I don’t know, maybe I am a “one-off,” just thought I would share.
