Jansal Valley Diced Glazed Lemon Peel, 1 Pound

I think it taste good , me and my girlfriend like to have orange peels with tea , so I ordered lemon peels to try . The only negative thing I think they're too tiny ( chopped into small cubes ) , wish they were bigger and wish they were less sweet . Pieces are small and sweet so has almost like a marmelade taste , wish they were little more natural tasting but over wise it's fine , probably good for baking but a bit too sweet in my view to eat out of the box .

I used in cookie recipes for Christmas. Wonderful

This had flavor and added a great deal to my annual stollen efforts. There truly is no comparison with the crud sold in Grocery Stores, I am amazed! Sorry I ever wasted money on that; from now on, I'll be looking for this.

Used this to make German Lebkuchen. It was excellent. Previously I've made my own, but using this candied lemon peel was just easier. It had great taste, was fresh, and made my cookie making process a lot easier. I recommend this product for any receipe that calls for Candied Lemon Peel.

The packaging is that of standard grocery store quality and does not fare well in shipping. As a result, the fragile and brittle plastic container is likely to be prone to cracking and/or popping open resulting in diminished flavor and aroma. Especially worse depending on the climate you're in.I can't confidently say that this product was tainted, but I certainly did not feel well after consuming a moderate amount of them. If properly packaged, this seems like it would've been a great product. Shame.

Have used this item before. Looking forward to fruit cake baking for the holidays.

Reordering today as I ran out. I use it in the fruited cakes I make along with their candied orange peel. Lasted for over 12 months.
