I’ve used quite a few hair bleaching kits in my time, and I can safely say that the Knight & Wilson Colour-Freedom Cream Hair Bleach is one of the best I’ve tried. Let me tell you, though, there was definitely a moment when I was standing there with my hair slathered in bleach, wearing an old t-shirt that I wouldn’t mind sacrificing, and thinking, 'Is this going to work, or am I about to look like a science experiment gone wrong?' Thankfully, no disasters occurred, and instead, I got salon-quality results right in my own bathroom. The whole process made me feel like a bit of a mad scientist, but in the best way possible. The results? Worth every minute of looking like a DIY sci-fi character. It’s ammonia-free, which means no eye-watering fumes or harsh chemical smell, a big plus if you’re like me and have to bleach in a poorly ventilated bathroom. Despite being gentle, this stuff says it lifts up to 8 shades and it does what it says without completely wrecking my hair. The cream formula makes application really easy, it’s thick enough that it doesn’t drip everywhere, which is a major relief. It comes with everything you need, including a tinting brush, which made me feel like I was in a mini salon at home. I was able to get an even coverage, and the consistency meant I could really work it into sections without it drying out too quickly. What really sets this bleach apart is the added protection and repair elements. My hair didn’t feel fried or like straw after I rinsed it out, which is honestly a small miracle considering how much lifting power it has. This hair lightener is fantastic compared to b blonde bleaching this is a more natural hair dying product, I have really curly hair which is why I tried this one, it is brilliant Ammonia free no smell and bleaches like any other brand but without the heat damage, I recommend this for drier hair and generally it is healthier for any hair type 10/10 thanks seller! this is my new go to hair lightener

So this is a fresh review as literally just finished my hair. Well what can I say...I was so dubious and nervous as never bleached my hair before. I decided to go for the chop as my hair had been damaged from a Brazilian and a box dye. After cutting it short it was OK but a very boring dark dark brown. I bought this pack even though it said black hair may not have the same results. I followed the instructions down to a T. I believe this works good if you have dark hair that hasn't had too much dyeing previously..more of a natural state of hair because the colour lifted so well and almost immediately. I left it on for 45 minutes. I like that the box comes with the brush in included in the price. I like how was easy to mix the contents quickly. It took my hair to a yellow blonde..was hoping for a more white blonde but just pleased it didn't go orange. It took really well....I listened to where it said to do the roots last. All my hair was covered and evenly. I do however think that what is supplied won't be enough for long hair, or even a bob, I feel it would need 2 to 3 boxes. The toner certainly isn't enough it's like a free sample but it did work just not enough. I felt safe using it, I didn't feel like it was gonna damage my hair and it didn't and when I washed it I didn't even see one strand. I may go and dye it platinum silver but will stay blonde for a bit. Overall this is a 4 out of 5 because of the Toner or lack thereof and also because don't feel there is enough to do full length of hair. I would however recommend this and would buy again. Update: bought the product for a 2nd time and just as good as the first time..in fact even better results as my hair was already lighter so I managed to obtain that platinum blonde. I have had no damage. My hair is drier then normal but I have quite dry hair anyway but I experienced no burning, itching or hair loss and very happy with the result. Definitely recommend.

My favourite hair lightener! It is great for fine, delicate hair, and it lifts my dark brown hair to a pale yellow effortlessly and evenly. My pack also contained a sachet of white blonde toner which removes every trace of yellow, to leave a pure light blonde shade. I absolutely love this! 😊

Two hours later and I can still see yellow, my hair is a natural dark blonde, it usually takes 20 minutes to lift.

This product was purchased as an alternative to harsh bleach to help me strip my sun blanched colour. I am a natural blonde but have had Navy Blue hair for years. After a recent holiday, the colour was beyond faded due to sun and chlorine from the pool. As I'm getting older, the grey is beginning to pop through too. So I decided to go back to basics and am opting (eventually) for pastels. In the meantime, I had to sort out my messy mop without resorting to harsh chemical bleaching so figured I'd give this a try. Holy smoke...it's excellent! Super easy to use and after one application the blue was virtually gone. I have purchased another kit to get rid of some of the residual blue but I am so impressed with how it currently looks and, more importantly, feels. Yes my colour is slightly patchy but that's more my issue with missing a chunk of colour qt the back of my head (OOOOPS!)! The real upside is the condition of my hair...it's very soft. None of that dry feeling which harsher dyes give you. It's like it's just normal, really decent condition and still shiny. If you are stripping a colour or want to give blonde a whirl I would thoroughly recommend this product. Well done for someone finally creating a product which actually gives results without trashing the hair.

really happy with the results on virgin thick dark hair. didn't reach blonde but it never claimed I could pro tip: make sure the room is warm enough to activate the product (we took hours the first go around because the room was too cold & the products didn't activate until we uh, blew dried it a little, worked properly after) + Hair is a little more dry than the non-bleached hair but friends w dyed hair have said it's reasonably/not badly damaged. + A complete set means no hassle, didn't need anything else. From the gloves, brush etc to the conditioner, everything was included. (did buy extra purple shampoo, which I didn't really go blonde enough to need imo lol) + Much cheaper than going to a salon if you have friends that can help :)) and is probably easy enough to do alone too tbh with a bit of focus full story: Bleached my hair on a whim, had help from a few friends the first time around in Jan and came out with a ginger-brown/coppery colour, then dyed with a mix with purple&silver. I let the colour fade and bleached again in march with the left overs from Jan as a 'using it up lol' sort of thing. The recent bleaching probs helped mostly get rid of the remnants of dye and slightly lightened it (better seen irl) but I didn't do it very well lol so idk how light this bleach can lift Asian hair.
