Easy to read . Great reference for wood turning. and many great projects.

I purchased this book for my brother in New Zealand, and he is delighted with the gift. The parcel arrived in time for his birthday and he is happy as the book gives tips and ideas that he hadn't tried out yet.

My father is in his 70's and quite into woodturning. I purchased this for his birthday and he said it had a lot of concepts he wanted to know more about. It is a beautiful book and, given what little I know, very informative.

This is a good book with some interesting reference shapes. It could use a little more “how to” information, but if you are searching for inspiration then this is a good book to have handy.

If you want a book, I don't think you will be disappointed with this one, and it will be a great addition to your library. 100 projects, 50 of them in detail, right down to the chisels used. I didn't need the fine detail but still got a lot out of the book and - most importantly to me - have some great ideas for upcoming projects.

Great book if your looking for project design inspiration. I have made many of the projects the author outlines and very pleased with the results! This is not is a "how to" book. It is for a wood turner that knows how to shape wood looking for inspiration in proportion, detail, and design.

I teach woodturning and I recommend this book to all my students as it is well written and at the beginning of each chapter there is a detailed explanation with pictures on how to do it,then there are designs to get you doing it yourself.It is written for the beginner and will be useful for turners who would like to brush up on techniques.

Good guide for Son who is getting back into wood turning.

This was a real find. I enjoyed the book immensely. The ideas, some of which, I have already used are great. Having met this turner/author at various venues and demonstrations over the years I knew that I would not be disappointed in his informed opinions. A book that I will treasure and dip into for many years to come.
