Good kit overall but could be slightly improved
There is at least one review stating that the stock ground cable for a 2017 570 isn’t long enough to reach the terminal block and that is not correct. All you have to do for the stock ground cable is bend the existing terminal in the opposite direction. This gives enough slack to be able to attach it to the new terminal block. When I was installing I initially thought the same thing but the existing terminal is bent a certain way because of how it attached to the battery in the stock location. I actually just finished installing the kit on my 2017 570 and it works fine.As for the rest of the kit: Not really much to say because it’s relatively simple. You will have to bend the terminals on the new cables that attach to the battery in order to reuse the existing battery cover, not a big deal. I do wish the power cable they sent took into account the length from the battery in its new location to the terminal block. As it stands now both the power and ground cable they send you are the same length which leaves you a little more power cable to manage once everything is installed. Again, not a big deal. I did apply some terminal grease to the power block terminals. I’d did have an issue with the torx screws that were supplied to reattach the overflow bottle to the new bracket / frame. The metal for these screws seemed super soft. One went in fine but the other started fine and then caught some dirt (?) or something in the frame threads and immediately started to strip the threads so I promptly removed the ones supplied and re-used the existing torx screws. You’re obviously losing some thread engagement because the stock screws are shorter and you are adding thickness with the terminal block bracket but everything snugged up fine and I’m just going to keep an eye on it. If you are purchasing this kit the only other suggestion I would have is to buy some wire loom and install as you run the new cables. I think I am going to go back and do this. Not only does it look cleaner but it would protect the wires from rubbing against the frame.

Nice kit
Likes: Basic skills needed to install , all parts were in the box. Quality is good on all components, but I have doubts about the terminal block.Concerns: 1-Positive cable is too long, needs to be shortened, my factory cables are looped and bent out of the way but look unprofessional;2-Terminal block studs are not sized right for ATV’s, they need to be correct for M10 sized leads;I expect this to be the first and only failure, either from poor connections or heat from the exhaust.Overall it is a great kit, the battery is in a much better location and the new battery box is thick steel. I would recommend and I would buy again. Except maybe I would shorten the too long cable or splice them together a different way.

Quad Logic Resolves Sportsman Battery Woes
This kit has been an absolutely necessary aftermarket upgrade for my 2019 Sportsman 570 SP. It is truly a disturbing enigma WHY the engineers at Polaris placed the battery in the location they chose; it seems as though the battery was an afterthought on a machine with zero alternative starting method. After owning my machine for about a year and a half, I began experiencing low charge on the battery. While aggravating, it was also somewhat expected, due to the battery being exposed to water, snow, mud, dirt and any other debris imaginable. Getting leads to the battery’s terminals in it’s stock location is a chore at it’s best, which is when I began my research for a solution to the problem. Discovering Quad Logic’s Sportsman Battery Relocation Kit, I found excellent and glowing reviews from other Sportsman owners whom had underwent similar circumstances. I put myself on the email list (the product was out of stock at the time, both on Amazon and Quad Logic’s webstore) and waited patiently. Once the email hit my inbox, I ordered. Once I received the kit, I broke into the box and poured over the instructions (a violation of mancode, I know, but I detest anything electrical). Afterward, with a modicum of difficulty in removing the battery from it’s prison, I was able to successfully install the kit without issue. I should add that my machine is snorkeled and the only point of consternation was with mounting the radiator overflow bottle with the minuscule amount of room left by the snorkel tubes. If your machine is not snorkeled or otherwise modified, you will NOT have the same problem. In addition to this kit, I added a set of bolt-on battery tender leads with quick disconnect, which has entirely resolved the Sportsman battery problems. All considered, I find the Quad Logic Battery Relocation Kit to be an excellent aftermarket solution.

Finally I can get at my battery!
This kit relocates the battery on my 2016 Polaris 570 Sportsman. The battery is in such a bad spot from the factory. I can’t imagine someone really thought that was a good idea. This kit is easy to install, even if you have a winch like I do. The bracket is pretty heavy duty. The instructions are pretty good. It didn’t take long to install and now I can actually get at the battery if needed. I have a two wire harness for a battery tender which I ran out the back and zip tied to a frame tube so it’s easy to get at.

Quick and Easy Install
This was so easy to install. I was done with everything including moving the battery in about 15-20mins. It moves the battery from the bottom of the bike(which is such a dumb place to have had it in the first place) and puts it under the rear fender. Making the battery much more easily accessible.

Great idea
This is how it should have been done from the factory. Way easier to get to a item that is going to be changed every couple of years . Also now you can get to the oil filter for maint .
