I received the item just after the July 4th holiday and used it 5 times and it’s the best product for our bass fishing trips! It's quick and easy to use, very sturdy and reliable mount. It’s made our trolling experience so much more controllable and better to maneuver around.

This motor mount bracket allows me to move my electric trolling motor to the bow of my boat. I haven't used it yet but it should work fine for better control.

I installed on Tracker Topper 14’ Jon boat - 2019 So I did fill in with blocking to make a flush area for bolts to connect smooth. Other wise bolts with knobs wouldn’t have worked well due to angle of aluminum below top rail at front . Tried first time other day and worked well - did buy Extension pole for trolling motor- worked well. Product is a little costly but saved me from buying foot pedal and building platform.

I just got a custom Weld Craft 1444 modified vee jon boat with the works. Brand spanking new. Love it! Spent two days adding a bunch more accessories: ladder, fish finder, pop up cleats, etc. I then go to put my 65 lb trolling motor on the transom (we have electric only lakes around here), and the transom brace on the boat is too fat and goes all the way up the transom such that the trolling motor bracket won’t fit properly over the transom! I panicked. I called Weld Craft, and they said they didn’t know it would just be for a trolling motor, yet specifying that wasn’t an option on the distributors page with the list of features to select, so how could I have known in advance that I had to provide that info.? They suggested cutting the transom brace down. No way. This bracket saved the day. It fits perfect with room to spare, and I will leave it installed. Bonus: now I can put the trolling motor on and take it off over and over without scuffing the transom paint. Awesome product, and very well built! Couldn’t be more pleased.

the all plastic build is concerning, i have a 40lb mini kota that when going fill tilt likes to come off, i do have this mounted on the side of a tracker 14, I recommend tapping some screws about 1 inch to hard mount your trolling motor to the mount.

Awesome product worth the money

Trolling motor looked and fit fine until I started to troll!! It flipped up and luckily I caught it! Again I tightened that thing down so damn hard my hand hurt, again it flipped up and this time ripped the cheap grip tape that’s on this thing FOR LOOKS!!! I am not only dissatisfied I am scrappy to use it! Also it ways WAY TO NICH FOR ANY ALUMINUM fishing boat I see a crack forming GREAT LOOKING IDEA BUT OVERALL GARBAGE and VERY POOR DESIGN! better off on the back of my by in the way!

I have a 2022 Coyote Otter 160 jet boat which only has a narrow 1 inch lip on the upper rear transom to install this bracket..I was skeptical but after a very quick 2 minute install I realized this is the real deal! Great job and thanks for this product!

This mount works perfect for my 16 foot aluminum boat. Keeps the trolling motor straight and mounted perfectly.

This worked well on my 15' Tracker jon boat, but I needed to put a 1ft length piece of 2"x2" aluminum angle on the inside of the boat where the clamps screw in. It gave a flatter surface for the 2 clamps and made it far more secure. You don't have to use aluminum, you could make it out of a different material like wood or steel. It just has to change the angle so it's more perpendicular to the threaded clamps

The product is excellent!

I'll preface by saying my boat is a v-hull and I had to mount it off to one side at the front of the boat. Due to the angle (both the angle the trollilng motor/bracket is at plus the angle of the internal clamp) if i turn the thrust on my Minn Kota (55lb) too high, it flexes way too much and I've almost lost the whole motor when the bracket came loose. I've now added a triangle shaped 'rod' for the inside clamp to rest against (proving a flatter surface for it) and it has helped a bit. Honestly, it's not really designed for this configuration boat (and I knew that when I bought it) but I didn't want to spend $1000 plus on a bow mounted trolling motor and my review is based on my experience with my boat.
