I bought this Cribbage set as a gift. Here are 5 things you should know about it: 1 - The person I gave this too LOVED it. That says enough for me. 2 - I wanted to personalize this, so I added a couple of stickers, a unique set of cards (I kept the cards that came with it because they are nice), and I "tried" to paint three of the pegs (see #3) 3 - The pegs (3black, 3silver, & 3gold - 9 total) are fantastic. I tried to paint the black ones purple. It was so hard because the quality of these were so good. I had to sand it down which took a while and then repaint... these are durable and will last you a LONG time. 4 - The wood is really pretty and honestly looks like a super fancy Cribbage set, but at a fraction of the cost. 5 - The ONLY complaint I have is that the box it comes in is kind of ugly and the directions/instructions on how to play are super cheesy and written on a single piece of plain 8.5x11 white paper. It really can't be stored in the wood case without the box, so that is dumb. I didn't need the instructions and I took the board out of the box for gifting, so all of this didn't matter to me. I would definitely buy again, but if I need the instructions I would probably find some online and print my own on nicer quality stock, or a small card that can be placed with the deck of cards or glued to the inside of the folding board.

I ordered this cribbage board as a gift for my significant other and I for Christmas. I couldn’t wait to check it out when it arrived because the price was just too good to be true. I half expected it to be kind of cheap, but was hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Was I ever!!! The quality is fantastic. The board is beautifully crafted, stained and sealed. The metal pegs have a good weight, so it would be noticeable if you dropped one. The pegs and the cards fit securely into the board, making it easy to travel with. Great buy!!

Nice quality

My son learned cribbage basics in a math club at school and came home with an interest in learning more advanced game play. I bought this for him for his birthday, and he loves it. The fit and finish of the board is very attractive, and the cards--which some early reviewers felt were of low quality--are actually quite nice. Based on others' feedback here, it seems the company responded to the complaint and upgraded them. This is an excellent set overall, and it is especially convenient that the pegs and cards store within the closed board. I highly recommend this set.

You can see my original review below. I will say that this seller cares about the consumer. They reached out to me after this review and said they were going to make changes to the board and would include my recommendations and then offered to send me another for free when the changes had been made. They did EXACTLY that! The cards are standard size, plastic coated, and a much higher quality. They increased the size of the hole for the cards so I can swap out if we lose one, etc. I am VERY impressed that they took my recommendation to heart and took the extra time and money to send me another one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The board is well built and I was excited to have a board with card storage. However, the cards are very flimsy and just a step up from card stock. The slot to hold cards is slightly smaller than a regular deck, so you can't fit sturdy cards in it. That is my only complaint, but since the card storage is why I picked this board, I think it is a pretty important thing to have correct.

Love this game great board and set up

This is an excellent crib board for travel or display at home ! This has easy to read lanes for 3 players ; show the skunk line and keeps track of wins for all 3 players. Well Made with excellent clasp which holds deck of cards inside as well as crib pegs . Very satisfied with this crib board & highly recommend!
