Simpleinterface and lossless quality FLAC audio support.
I've been using this MP4 player for around a month. In that time it's spent its time in my coats inside pocket when I'm around town. The controls are touch sensitive and are nearly all placed on the front of the player, just below the screen. They are Back/OK/Previous/Next/+/-, and there's two buttons on the side. They are "Menu" and the On/Off button. It makes a nice change to use a music player with consistent controls when navigating the menus - forward/back change the menu selection, OK selects something, and the back button goes to the previous option. There's a speaker for when you don't have headphones (you need to supply your own) - it's serviceable, but being so tiny there's little bass as you'd entirely expect. The Music Player supports playlists, and enables the selection of songs by artist, album, and genre. It has the standard 8 pre-sets for graphic equalisation. The audio sounds good, and I did not hear any noise in silent parts of files when the volume was turned to full. The Bluetooth support enables audio devices to connect to the player such as headphones, the connection stays solid while playing, and the player remembers the connection to reconnect easily again. The folder view shows all the contents of the internal memory, and SD Card. These are the EBooks (simple TXT files), image files, video files, and audio files. When a file is selected - the relevant file playing menu is shown, and the player stays on this until it is exited - but allows files of a similar type to be navigated. The "Stopwatch" is unfortunately named - it is the main menu that contains the video player, image viewer, calendar, alarm, and of course - the stopwatch! The EBook system enables .Txt type files to be read in two font sizes, and numerous textured backgrounds (or plain) in white or black "ink". It also has an auto page turner that flips a page after a user defined amount of time, though they can be turned just by pressing the forward/back buttons. It's serviceable - the screen size and resolution can show a few minutes of reading per "page". Not a books page worth, obviously, but more than other smaller screen MP4 players. The FM Radio has an auto scan and manual set option for picking stations, and remembers previously used ones. The earphones double as the antenna - the same as with most other FM radio devices. The audio recording feature is relatively featured well. Offering Auto Voice Recording Start, two record formats - lossless WAV (saved directly as a waveform), and MP3 - lossy (loses some definition in high frequencies). They both have several different bitrates they can use. (the details listed below in the menu breakdown)The "Set" menu gives the expected range of items - SD and internal memory formatting, back-light brightness, setting the language for the menus, and date and time - these sorts of things. A full list is given below. This MP4 player is a no-frills solid device, that's worked solidly while I've been using it for this past month. The battery life has been as stated, and the display is bright enough to be seen in sunlight. The general audio quality is great, and the support for FLAC audio gives superb audio quality - much better than MP3 can provide. It'll be my travel audio player for the foreseeable future.------------------------------------The menu breakdown. This is a description of the menus, settings and options that are available.MusicNow playing, all songs, Playlists, Artists, Albums, Genres, Create Playlist,BluetoothMP3 Player can be set up as an MP3 file source.Folder viewList of all files, MP£ player goes to the utility needed to access the file and stays on that file type player.StopwatchVideo, Pictures, Calendar, Stopwatch, AlarmEBookLists all text files. Sleek outside and easy to use...UI needs to be jazzed up though
I really rate this, i expected it to look a little bit on the cheap side but the build quality is excellentIt has a thin steel shell that is powder coated black...normally for things such as this i would criticize and say why didnt they just use aluminium and anodize it but the powder coating works well to its advantage as they've done from what i can tell from the thickness at least 3 coats which means unlike anodized objects, scratches wont be as visible as they would be otherwiseThis is good because for something like this you can expect it to end up more battered and damaged than most phones would due to the nature of how it will be usedNow having said that the UI does leave something to be desired...despite the premium feel of the outside...the User Interface is sadly not as sleek and appealingThey have done a fantastic job at streamlining it and making it effectively super easy to navigate which is fantastic as this is a gift for my parents who are getting a new sound system for christmas and the fact its super easy to navigate is greatHowever the UI emblems could do with snazzing up a bit to make them just more appealingThe touch part of this is not a fingerprint scanner...the listing was slightly unclear nad maybe i just aspired to hope it had one but it doesn'tIt does however have great sensitive tactile buttons which mean that its easy to use and react quicklyThe storage is fantastic...ive got a significant digital music collection of around 35gb size and i struggle most of the time to find players that can store itLuckily i put a 128gb sd card in this and its sorted for now and futureOn top of that it has an inbuilt 16gb which is great and luckily with UI loaded on this still works out at around 15.7gb space for music which is better than my old 8gb player which the UI took up a whopping 1.3gb!Thats why its so good the UI is streamlined it means that youve plenty if space for what matters....music 🎶!The spund quality isnt amazing but its definitely above average...whether its worth the extra 25 quid over a cheap mp3 player i suppose depends on how much you value marginal increase in quality to money...personally if i were to get it again i probably wouldn't bother...but having said that noe ive got it I wouldn't change and go backYou wont be stunned but you shouldn't be disappointed by the sound quality when you factor in thsi is still very much at the amateur side of music playersOverall despite the quite hefty pricetag which realistically would be better suited to 35 quid it is very goodI would say that it feels like a 50 quid mp3 player but i think if it were 35 it would seriously take the market by stormOverall very pleased with the feel, definitely feels like a premium productUI needs more work to make it look more appealing but is fantastically easy to navigate and use which is ideal for people who are slightly less techno-ableAm pretty pleased with this purchase and hopefully my parents will too (Christmas present)For me the main selling point of this was the bluetooth and DACsFor an audiophile you wont be blown away by the sound but you won't be disappointed either...as far as small portable media players go the sounds is pretty decent!

A bit over priced but it does what it says it does.
I purchased this to give as a gift to a relative of mine.To be honest, right out of the box it seemed cheaply made and I doubted that it would work.Regardless, I switched it on and it worked just fine. Came with 3 songs already on it from the factory and they played just fine through its included speakers. It came with 80% battery life and worked pretty fine out of the box with minimal setup apart from the time and date.It does what it says in the description but I really think that this is just for either children or the elderly that don't own anything that you can play music out of as its functionality is really minimal and limited to radio and offline music playback. At a hefty price of 55 pounds, I would consider other products but if its price drops down, it's an ok purchase and does what it says in the description. If you found this helpful, please let me know by leaving me a helpful vote down below.Cheers!

Aside from price an excellent purchase
Aside it from being slightly expensive, I love everything about this. The battery lasts a long time, the sound quality through the headphone is very well balanced, it supports Bluetooth, has a screenprotecor already applied, aluminium body for durability. All these are amazing pro's. This is extremely helpful to me when I'm working as there is less distraction from online content and more focus on what I'm currently doing. The sound from the speakers are quite loud but fairly flat, the volume for both headphones and speakers can increase very loud, a word of warning, make sure the volume is less than half when using headphones to avoid ear damage.Overall I'm quite pleased with this unit, solid build, good sound, everything I was after.
