The New Balance 608 is my go-to for a durable, everyday shoe. The V5 features the ABZORB cushioning that really makes a difference if you’re on your feet all day. They provide excellent arch support and lateral stability, whether you're working in the garage or out for a walk. The leather upper is easy to wipe clean and holds its shape much better than mesh alternatives. It’s a reliable, comfortable, and classic shoe that just lasts. I wear bilateral AFO's and the braces actually fit well in these shoes.

The New Balance 608 V5 are extremely comfortable, and I use them to all my raves and festivals. I’m on my feet for hours dancing, standing, and walking around, and these have held up amazingly well. Stands up to heavy and abuse use for about one year (20,000 steps a day, squatting/rising on toes, kicking cinderblocks). Comfortable for 8+ hours walking on concrete, medium weight, good traction on all surfaces. Most of the shoe repels water (the tongue does not). The one downside is when it decides to die, it goes all at once. The sole seperates from the shoe and the tread sperates from the sole, all within a couple of weeks.

The deilivery was much quicker than expected. Saved about $25. over regular price. Wasn't sure about the size but it turned out to be a great fit. Have a 10 year old NB pair of shoes which am still using outside for yardwork but neded a nicer pair for regular work. Good quality at a very good price, This pair of shoes did need an extra small arch support.

My low cost "go to" shoe. I'm an active tennis player, 2 to 3 times a week and these shoes are light, comfortable, and wear well. I usually get 6 or 7 months out of them.

This is my 4th pair of New Balance shoes over the past 10-12 years, and they all have fit well and been very comfy. NB's size 14 works great for my narrow feet. Not too wide like some other brands. Minor issue is the laces are a little long for my narrow feet, but that's not NB's fault. I'll probably buy some shorter ones for $7. Still a great buy compared to the more trendy brands.

I was hesitant on buying these because I am very happy with the Skechers from Amazon. But I've always heard the New Balance are excellent. So I gave them a shot. Initially I felt the difference in foam padding, which is thicker on the Skechers, but after wearing these NB 608's on a 2 mile walk I felt the true difference. The arch support and flexibility of the support make these a significantly better choice for me. I've now taken multiple long walks and choose these even though my Skechers are just fine. Bought a second pair of these NB 608's and will use these for the real work of fitness and use Skechers for everything else until they're used up. It's smart to try other products and I'm happy I did with these 608's. Both are a good choice but I need the arch support after a knee replacement. I feel more stable and have longer wearing time. They also fit my feet more accurately in both width and length. Surprising how different the same size can be and these NB are right on, 9.5W. I already bought again sooo...

Shoes looks as advertised and fits well for a 4E width Was excited for them to come in but noticed multiple splotches/stains on the white sole and slight discolouration on the suede.
