goDog Checkers Just for Me Dinos Bruto Squeaky Plush Dog Toy, Chew Guard Technology - Purple, Mini

My 12 lb Yorkie mix has a 6"-8" version of this chicken I bought probably a year ago that is his favorite. I purchased this to have a second one to keep at my sister's house. Boy was I in for a surprise when I opened the package! The "small" is over a foot tall and more than twice as big as his old one. I did not expect it to be so big for such a low price! While my dog didn't immediately pick it up like the smaller one he has come to like it quite a bit and it is of the same high quality. I love goDog toys and will continue purchasing them because of how durable and cute they are. The smaller version I found out is either tiny or mini sized I found out. It has one squeaker in the body. This "small" version has a squeaker in each foot and a larger squeaker in the body. After almost 2 months of playing really intense tug of war with my young nephew the corner of one leg appears to be coming loose. This will not bother me if it comes off because it appears that it won't make a hole in the body to let stuffing out and the leg/foot it closer to the sized toy my dog usually like anyway so it will just turn into 2 toys.

These are an absolute favorite toy for Milo. There's a squeaker in the center and two little squeakers in each foot. The legs flop around and are perfect for whipping, thrashing, and some light tug of war. They generally hold up well at first, especially if I make sure to stop him from chewing them up. As with all toys in my house, Milo's need to defeat ALL squeakers and de-fluff the insides eventually wins out. Would love if there was a version of these with even tougher fabric. So far the only toys Milo has been unable to full chew through are the ones made of Kevlar. Overall, I recommend. We have each character and buy new ones when they're on sale. Please consider stronger fabrics like Kevlar for the future! I'd buy them all! :)

When our Golden Retriever was a puppy we bought him the small version of the rooster. It was his favorite toy and it lasted for over a year (while other toys lasted maybe a month). We then upgraded to the large version. Our boy loves to tug so it did not last as long (a few months) but that is to be expected with large breeds that like to tug. I've been looking ever since to purchase a large replacement and finally found it here on goDog's amazon shop! It's a great toy. One that does not have pieces that the dog can chew off and swallow. No rope attachments - yay! So many toys these days have ropes sewing into them which can be harmful to animals (fibers can get stuck in the intestines). My only recommendation would to cut off the tags. Not sure why dog toy manufactures still sew in tags? Dogs that nip and chew will get these off in seconds and swallow them. In all, love many of the goDog products and this is our favorite.

I bought my pup one of these for Christmas and he LOVED it. he killed it pretty quickly because he's a pitbull and soft toys don't last with him, but even after she was de-stuffed and mutilated, he carried her corpse around because he loved it so much. I took her crinkly paper and squeakers out and he was still obsessed with her. She didn't last long, but she was at least good quality material. She lasted about 2 weeks before I had to throw her out - which was fine. Puppy had to get surgery this week so I bought him another to cheer him up and distract him from the e-collar, and this one is COMPLETELY different. Looks different, I'm pretty sure it's smaller, and the quality is horrible - it literally came with loose threads. The material even is completely different. The last one was thicker and stronger and way more durable. This one is ridiculously thin. He had holes ripped in it the second he had his teeth in it. There's not as much stuffing in the limbs as the last one, so while with the last one the stuffing was protecting his teeth from clashing, with this one there's no barrier. I'm not going to be able to leave him with it for more than a few minutes at a time because I don't want his teeth grinding with a thin flap of material in between. I might cut the limbs off and give him just the body - but why would I pay the same price for half the toy. I'm not initiating a return for the reason listed above - it's still cheering my dog up, and distracting him, but I'm so upset that I wasted the money on this for it to be completely different. And just in case the company doesn't have anyone looking through reviews for feedback, I am going to be emailing as well. If you buy this, I hope you get the good quality one that my pup loved so much and not this garbage I was sent today.

I hated giving this a 1 star, because it was so cute when I unpacked it today. I just gave it to my dog and in less than two minutes he has a hole ripped in it.! he loves it so I don't wanna take it away from him, but I'm sure it's going to be gone in another few minutes. Why can't someone make a stuffed animal for a dog that lasts like they say so on their listing? I really should take it away from him and send it back, but I don't have the heart. I had to come back and give this a better review. it deserves at least four stars because even though he ripped holes in it, this one has lasted way longer than any other toy. He's actually still playing with it, and it still has some crinkle left to it so he didn't destroy the whole thing as quickly as he did other stuffed animals. I will certainly buy another one because at least it lasted a week so far!

Cons- polyfil, eyes. Pros- tough, long lasting. We have 2 golden doodles (3&5 yr olds) are tough on toys, but these are nearly indestructible once the polyfil, eyes and squeakers are removed. We've ordered 4 over the years because it's proven to be their favorite. See photo of the four next to each other. The new one came in today July 14, 2024, next December 2023, next Xmas 2022, the rope is all thats left of the 1st from 2021. I hit it with lawnmower. I just ran a test and threw all 4 in a pile in front of my dogs. Funny enough, Lincoln smelled em all, and picked up the oldest one (just a rope now) and took it to his spot!

Checkers is so cute -- he makes you smile, but my dog chewed a hole in him on the first day. I was very disappointed because it said for heavy chewers.

This dog toy is the real deal. Not only does it look like a quality item, but with a pit/husky mix chewing it daily it certainly has some resiliency. Great for tug-a-war with your pup and no danger at all of it tearing or ripping. I am sure over time it may, but even if I get a couple months worth...completely worth the small amount of moeny.

My daughter's dog is a cavoodle and he loves squeaky toys but sadly manages to kill the squeak within a couple of hours. This one has lasted all day so far so I'm very excited and he loves it.

Mon bouvier bernois est heureux et cours partout avec son poulet ! il a l'aire très résistant et de taille très satisfaisante, envoi un peu long mais ça vaut le coup d'attendre! je recommande ce produit!

The ONLY TOY i've bought that my dog hasn't managed to rip apart within an hour of getting. It has been over a year or so and just within the past couple months has the fabric begun to rip, but the inner layer has yet to rip and expose the white stuffing. Repurchasing a fresh one for his birthday, and just for reference he is a 6 year old shitzu.

It seems very durable
