Pro-Art Golden Regular Gloss Gel Medium-8oz

I love this product I use it for my stencils it's spreads nicely the paint takes to it I will continue buying this product. If you're into painting with stencils I would definitely invest in this product.

This is my favorite matte medium. I sue it in multi- media artwork to glue down background papers and to protect layers as I’m building them up. You can paint, write, and generally color over this medium as though it’s a base layer. It leaves a slightly glossy finish so it can also double as a varnish. The medium dries reasonably fast provided it’s not overly thick. I never have problems with papers coming up after they’ve been glued with this meduium.

This texture medium has turned out to be one of the most important in my creative process. Goes on smoothly, dries (relatively) quickly, and stays where I put it. I go through about a jar a month because I've started using it in everything. Fun to spread in interesting patterns, fun to texture after laying it flat. So many possibilities, I feel like I've barely scratched the surface.

Used for making prints look textured. Great gloss and quality as expected from Golden.

Goes on easy, and while it says it is gloss, it is less glossy than some I have used.. I actually pefer that, and will reorder

Using this to collage fabric onto a painted canvas. Still a little too liquid, and soaks into the fabric, but dries clear to not too bad. Thinner light colored fabrics end up a bit darker, but not too bad. Seems to work well to glue wire onto the canvas, excess does not show.

I am a beginning dot painter and I have a great deal of inexpensive acrylic paints. Some of them are a good consistency but some are too thin and watery. Using this product allows me to thicken those paints to my desired consistency without affecting the color. And you only need a small bit to do the job.

Used to varnish canvas print using paintbrush. It dries clear and retains the brushstrokes, which makes the print very painterly. Great product.
