Amazon does not support a picture so I cannot attach the diagram but hopefully this explanation will work for you: 1. place flathead so head is against the table and threads facing upward 2. place small washer over flathead thread 3. place larger, decorated plate on top of small washer, over thread 4. place large washer over thread 5. locate the gold metal piece with two unfinished ends, hold thread side up and screw on to the threads of flathead protruding through decorate large plate 6. place large washer on top of threads of gold metal piece 7. place small decorated plate on top, threads through the hole in plate 8. add large washer 9. screw final gold metal handle piece on top
