A wonderful book about genius mind of Nani Palkhivala. Although it has touch of biography, but it heavily deals with legal acumen and legal works of Mr. Palkhivala. Some later chapters (like those on taxation) can be more of academic in nature. Overall a good read.

A wonderful book that describes how great the greatest advocate the country has ever seen was! A book worth reading not just for lawyers and law students but also for the aware citizen who wants to understand how constitutional law has evolved in India!

This Good Book

Very informative and helpful

Very little is known to people of this generation the monumental contribution of Nani Palkhivala. Getting into his technical area and understanding his brialliant work with the people is a task in itself. I must say that authors has done a great job of bringing the brilliance of Nani to people. I should say that all Legal alumni should read this book before starting his/her curriculum just to know the level to which advocacy has been taken by Nani. Law is supposed to be a drab topic but how purposely this has been used effectively to tackle injustice to tweaking of basic structure of Constitution is a tremendous job. This book brings the nitty gritties of legal cases and beauty of the law in front of the readers. This is technically dominated book. For people who wish to know what damages were purported to be done by evil politicians and courage of Nani...this is a must read !!!!! If you are not very inclined to Law and its nitty grities...do read still as your general awareness of law would be much higher after reading this book. For people working in Corporate area his legal opinions topic is a must read.!!!!
