Are these mugs pricey? Yes. Do they seem delicate and should they be handled gingerly? Yes. Are they worth it and will they elevate your coffee experience? Most definitely. The mugs are lightweight, easy to hold, beautiful to behold, and will keep your drinks cold or hot longer than a regular ceramic mug. I can’t recommend them enough (or their 12 oz coffee mug versions). A note on the size: You might be tempted (as I was) to just buy the 12 oz glass coffee mugs from this same brand because they are cheaper. I did. And they’re excellent mugs! However, there is a reason they made a latte version … and I actually wound up spending more money because I ended up getting these, too. These 15 oz mugs give you the room you need to add foam/milk without worrying about making “too much” coffee. Yes, I add LOTS foam (see pics) … but I no longer have to skimp on the amount of iced coffee I brew (straight into this cup). So if you love lattes or playing around with coffee, glass mugs, and you want to save some money, just get these right away if you can … because you’re going to end up realizing that the other mugs can’t compare in terms of space. Update: These 15 oz mugs don’t hold the temperature as long as the smaller 12 oz mugs and there is condensation on the outside when I do iced coffee. Customer service was excellent and will replace them. Hopefully the new ones live up to the product description on these points. Update 2: The replacement mugs hold the heat a little longer than the originals. However, there seemed to be even more condensation forming on the replacements when I did iced coffee in them. Since that’s not according to the product description, I give it 4/5 stars. Nevertheless, the mugs are gorgeous and good for large specialty coffee servings. Update 3: I have to go back to 5/5 stars for these mugs. Sure there’s some condensation, but it doesn’t get anything wet really. And as long as you heat the milk a little more, the latte will hold the temperature. I use them way more than the smaller ones.

The glassware was well packaged and arrived in a box with other products undamaged. The glasses are larger than they look in the pictures. They are understood to be made of unusually light and thin borosilicate glass that is resistant to thermal shock. The craftmanship is very good, very smooth and elegant. The thermal insulation behavior is a key feature - its like a thin Thermos, keeps coffee hot and does not transmit much of that heat through the walls or handle. They are very nice to hold and drink from. However - they seem susceptible to damage if allowed to clank around with other glassware and dishes and should be treated gently and protected from impacts.

These mugs are very nice and durable as well. The borosilicate glass indeed seems of high quality and one of mine have already survived 2 falls I was sure would shatter them - 1 time falling from the counter into the sink, another time outside I knocked the mug off a short table onto the ground, the surface of which was littered with small rocks and pebbles and the mug again survived to my delightful surprise. I've never had a problem pouring scalding hot coffee or boiling water into them, nor any issue pouring in ice cold water. Of course you will not want to alternate between hot and cold and should be mindful of rapid temp changes. Overall, I like the durability, aesthetic, functionality, and feel of the mugs. They help keep hot beverages hot for longer and cold beverages cold for longer and look great doing so. Can definitely recommend.

Cheap junk. The regular coffee mugs are great, but these latte mugs are not and overpriced. They’re super light and appear to be very fragile which apparently they are because the first set of ordered one of mugs was completely broken. Ordered a replacement set and one of the mugs developed they crack shortly after receiving. Never put these in the microwave and we carefullyhand washed the mugs so there should be no reason they would develop a crack except that the fact the quality control on these is lacking. I’m surprised that both weren’t during shipping because these were so poorly packed with no packing materials. Just a loose box inside of another box which allows the inner box to just rattle around.

Beautiful mugs! They seem fragile and will handwash only so far holding up great and keeping coffee warmer than regular mugs.

Love the glasses, but they are so delicate , I don't know how long they will last.

I first bought a set of these on sale from Macy’s but one cup accidentally wound up in the dishwasher and it burst, so don’t put them in there - but they clean up super easy, almost like a glass nonstick surface! I then ordered a set of two from Amazon because every morning I make a double iced latté for myself and a hot latte for my spouse and these cups are absolutely perfect!! They are exactly the right size for a double latte… there’s enough room for the foam in the hot drink or enough room for all the ice in the cold drink. The insulation wall (double glass) keeps your drinks either super cold (the ice remains for hours) or keeps the hot drinks hot for almost as long. I also love that they are incredibly lightweight! I normally wouldn’t spend this much on a couple of coffee cups but these are absolutely worth it.

Love these. Use them all the time. Keep tea hot We are careful with them but they have held up and are still shiny a year later. I give them as gifts and people love them for lead free drinking. Pretty ergonomic and the thicker lip is nice to drink from.
