Mine arrived as if opened and re-packed along with 2 kontrolfreeks thumb caps for an as yet unknown controller. Despite the initial weird packaging these things are great. The smallest raises and widens the original pad slightly without changing the profile. The next size gives a nice indent which the joycon is missing and makes tracking much easier with continued use as you are less likely to find the thumb slipping. The largest mimics the og joycon but adds a nice amount of height which is great for preventing thumb strain for bigger hands. Combine these with the Skull & Co case and with the right combinations of clips and grips you can build a really comfortable hand held. It's worth pointing out that the middle size with the indent comfortably fits over the large one adding extra height again and giving the nice thumb divot. This also works with the officially licensed Hori grips and will likely work with most grips designed to fit directly to the joycon. The officially licenced Hori grips also fit over the smallest size. The level of customisation is fantastic and well worth the price if you want a for handheld mode.

I bought these because they seemed like they fit the Razer Kishi V2 and they fit perfectly! Snug fit and no sign of accidentaly being pushed or rubbed off any time soon. The texture on the sides of the covers allow a tactile grip while not being super sticky, and the silicone allows and dust to be brushed off easily. Also, the novelty of stacking covers on top of each other is great for someone like me who messes around a lot

I love their tactile feeling - they do improve grip and accuracy in games. Fit well to the buttons too, they never come off. Easy to put on. Colours are a perfect match to the joycons that came with my Switch console.

I recently bought a Retroid Pocket 5 and whilst I love the ergonomics, the sticks are a little small, and I read that these Switch caps worked well for it. I'm happy confirm that it's indeed the case. I originally intended to use the smaller flat caps but actually prefer the largest flat ones. They were easy to install, and the controls immediately fell much better.

I've gotten to the point where if I need a random accessory, this is one of the brands I check first. Their analog covers are top notch and better than anything I used to sell working at GS. I have their analog caps on all my systems and their grip and case for my Switch. These are indispensable.

Un must have pour tout possesseur de Switch. En plus de protéger le plastique du joystick d'origine qui peu s'abimer rapidement, ces embouts confère une sensation bien plus agréable ! Mention spéciale pour l'embout "CQC Elite" avec son centre incurvé et le grip sur les bords, et qui a mon sens devrait inspirer Nintendo pour leur joystick de base. 10€ ce n'est rien par rapport au prix de la console et pour le niveau de confort que cela apporte vous pouvez les acheter les yeux fermés ! À voir comment ils tiendront dans le temps, même si a ce prix là je ne pense pas qu'ils pourront me décevoir.

If the pictures don't make it clear enough, this is basically a set of two slim caps for style and protecting the sticks (as all the other caps also do), two caps to give you a wider and concave grip instead of the stock convex shape, and two caps for extending the length of the control sticks. None of these stop you from fully titling your sticks, which is perfect for this type of accessory! The Joy Con aren't perfect, and while making trade-offs for their small size, the control sticks suffered the most. They don't travel as many degrees as most modern controls, they're quite a bit shorter and smaller, the travel is not as smooth, and they are closer to the surrounding buttons. It's important to understand that a product like this can't fix all these problems. But by having these customization options, hopefully you can strike a better balance for yourself. By extending the length of the sticks, you'll gain travel distance for improved precision, while lowering the resistance (springiness) back to the center. By widening the thumb grip, you'll have less room to hit close-by buttons, B and minus, specifically. I only applied these to my right Joy Con, because aiming reticles for shooters and the like felt sub-par, while movement on the left Joy Con felt fine and easy. Lucky for me that this means I can cover both of my Joy Con sets with just one purchase! I'm definitely a fan of the caps for lengthening the control stick, but still trying out the concave caps to see if I prefer them out not. Make sure to clean your control sticks carefully and thoroughly, then install the caps fully. The fit seems good to me, but they are just a medium-hard rubber so they are likely to loosen after some time.

I have a Xbox Elite controller Series 1 which I love. I have all have all Xbox controller versions, including Elite series 2 but Elite series 1 is the best. Anyways, as you can see the thumb silicon grip wear out. Among all the options out there and brands I decided to go with Skull & Candy Co since their products are high quality. I have never been disappointed with this company products. And was right. This thumb grip replacement is great. Actually, feels better than the original factory grip. Besides, the price is way lower than others "pro" brands.

I previously bought and reviewed the Skull & Co thumb grips for the PlayStation Portal. These JoyCon grips are my 2nd purchase from this company. Very happy with the product. Very sturdy, thick and textured rubber just like their Portal thumb grips. I picked black over red and the covers blend in with the JoyCon sticks. They are a 1-piece rubber grip. These make the Switch thumbsticks more comfortable to use. They don’t spin around or move at all (for now, over time we will see). I can aim a lot better in games like Borderlands or Bioshock since these grips extend the thumbsticks. I use a PowerA travel pro slim case with my Switch and the CQC and skin grips fit without squishing when I close the case. I’m not sure about the FPS grip — the case when closed might be squishing down on the thumbstick. I was about to buy those cute, themed thumbstick covers (teddy bear or Tom Nook/leaf ones) and I’m happy I went with these Skull & Co ones instead. The cute thumbstick covers are just covers while these Skull & Co are covers and grips that extend thumbstick height. Same price, too, and you only get 4 cute thumbstick covers versus 6 Skull with differing heights. Just like my Portal, I use CQC on the left and FPS on the right.
