Friends have told me how great Munchkin is and being a huge fan of RE Howard I finally gave in and bought the Conan set. The game is like a lite version of Dungeon! (which is itself a lite version of D&D) and was really to pick up and play. I've been playing with friends almost every other day and every game has been a blast. SJ Games makes some really fun games. Now I fear I'm addicted to Munchkin and want to get more sets.

I love the original Munchkin set for its balanced nature of character items vs monsters. One thing that the original did well was even when something was only +1 or +2 it had extra pieces on the side saying BUT if you fit into this category its + 4 or whatever. Conan on the other hand gives out too many bonuses and its super easy to escalate your strength past level 20 making it the other players jobs to harm you instead. Its still fun, just not my favorite.

This set is a great addition to the original Munchkin products. It can (like all sets) be used with any Munchkins, but the back are the same as the core set, making for easy integration. Having previously bought the 15-card Conan expansion, I was glad to see this was based off all the Conan works, and not just the movies.A great feature on some of the cards is text directly from the Conan books themselves.Not a downside but a forewarning, this set doesn't have as much humor as other Munchkin sets, but this should be expected from Conan.

We love Minchin. We love Conan. It is a great addition to our Minchin collection. It is a great stand alone game by its self too. So much fun for the whole family.

I'm a huge Conan fan, and seeing so many references to items and characters in this boxed set, I know whoever created this expansion / version really put some thought into it. I find the original Munchkin cards a little too corny / pun-filled, so this sets just the right tone for me.

More cards for the fantasy munchkin. Birthright cards! Classes! Race cards that remain human but are technically not! it's awesome. So many funny cards. Conan getting drunk, fighting people with Casks of Ale and leveling up the most awesome way possible! 5 stars. A great expansion or stand alone title. I combined mine with my already impressive amount of cards.

Bought this for my friend and he absolutely loved it!

This game has come in handy so many times when some of the people I play D&D with do not show up. This game is a must have for anyone who enjoys a table game where you can stab your friends in the back at every turn of the card.

Nice addition to the Munchkin collection. I like that is can stand on its own or be mixed in with the base set.
