A great antenna with a lot of pluses
This antenna surprised me in so many ways. It was fairly priced if it is compared to others of this type but this antenna gets some bonuses. First, it is mobile, meaning it can go where ever it is needed or wanted. It packs away into two small sacks. One is round with a radius of just over a 9" and about 3" thick and the other carries the tripod. It is about 2' long with about a 4" circumference. The antenna set up very easily. I read through the setup instructions the night before and identified all the parts. I put everything but the setup instructions back in the bag and then read through the instructions for 75/80 meter setup and the instructions for the 40 meter setup. Including laying out the radials, the first setup took 35 minutes. Subsequent setups took between 20 and 30 minutes depending on how far I went in moving it into the RV the previous night. Changing bands is also a breeze. Setting up is easy but the setup is thought out before the first use. I expected changing bands to be more difficult, if only because there is the chance to become confused about what goes where when you change pieces that look very similar to one another. I could not have been more wrong. I saw that 40 meters had an opening and started the timer. It took less than 10 minutes to change the antenna and to tune it to the frequency I wanted. I expect that time to be cut in half with experience. That will be as fast as changing bands and tuning up at home. Tuning the antenna brought the biggest surprise. I read the directions but thought the company was over rating the tuned frequency range. Actually, they underrated it in a couple of spots. Tuning is quick and simple with the device included, I was able to operate the entire two weeks and made contacts on 80, 75, 40, 20. 6 and 2 meters through this antenna. I received good reports from almost all contacts. So I rate this antenna a five stars in cost, setup, band changing, tuning and in tear down which I didn't cover but it is easier than setup. I suggest a clean rag be kept available to wipe things down as they are put in their bags. Especially if they were subjected to early morning due as mine was each morning. My only complaint is I can't just take off in the RV as often as In would like. I am in the planning stages for a couple of trips to make contacts by transmitting from each of the lower 48. I am anxious for that to begin.

Works great when tuned properly, chart is off a bit.
Relatively easy to tune. The chart is off a bit. Compact size and weight make this very portable. Decent tripod. I actually made more contacts in 2 days with this antenna system than I have with my base antenna in over a year! Works great once tuned!

DX'd India from the west coast!
Its very easy to set up. I hooked an antenna analyzer to it to tune it. I was able to get 1.5 SWR with the poor thing hidden amongst pine tree branches. Very restrictive HOA. On 20 meters, in the evening I was getting all kinds of QSOs. Alaska, Baltimore, Alberta, Texas, the Florida panhandle, Georgia and even a good contact with an operator in India. Pretty impressive. Edit: Continue to be quite impressed. Have DXโd with Lithuanian, ST Petersburg, RU and was getting a 5 by 9 response on 100 watts 20 meters. The more I use the antenna, the better it gets, consistently getting a 1.04 to 1 SWR using a Zoom antenna analyzer.

Good Product Overall
The set up is fairly straightforward. The tripod is lightweight, but the build quality is cheap. The crank handle broke after the first use. The rest of the components seem to be good quality. I bought this for ease of use. I wanted something I could easily put up and take down when I'm done. It works fine for 2m so far, but I get nothing but noise on HF. I can pick out some CW on 40 meters, but that's about it. It probably has more to do with where I'm setting it up rather than the antenna itself. (I live in a restrictive HOA community that doesn't allow permanent antennas.) I probably need to try moving it out in different locations before I render a final verdict.

Portable easy to use works great in the field.
I like the portability I like to build quality comes with everything you need to connect a coax and start making contacts. I feel the 2 m coil isn't as good as it could be but I've only had it about 7 ft off the ground SWR is around 2.2 with 2 m everything else is in the ones

Good Quality Product but not simple to set up
I bought this as my portable HF Antenna but also to use occasionally at home base. The overall build quality was good except for the counterpoise wires and tripod. The connectors were flimsy and I had to rig my own to get them to attach to the base of the antenna. The tripod was not great and the handle broke after the first use (too late to return it). Instructions were good but I had to go over the set up a few times. The pictures didn't always match the product I got but after a few tries I was able to set up the antenna. Now the hard part - getting it to tune was not easy - even with the supplied template, which did help. Technical support from the seller was responsive but not conclusive and I found better technical help on the internet and some ham specialty retailers. It was mostly trial and error to get it down to an acceptable SWR. Main point was to raise the counterpoise off the ground. Although I was able to tune it, the next time I set it up it was the same trail and error. I finally broke down and bough an antenna analyzer to help tune it and that helped a great deal. I plan to replace the counterpoise wires with sturdier wire and connectors of my own all around and add more of them to help improve performance. Not sure that I would buy it again since I had better success with a end fed and dipole that I threw over a tree. I guess it would serve a purpose but for the money I expected a lot less work.

It works!!!
Set up at Brushy mountain apple festival in wilkesboro NC Using Super antenna to show folks how HF works I give this portable setup a 5 for ease of set up. 1 thing to make it easier is use a anyalser. Chris Ni4L

Nice Package and it works
I really enjoyed the packaging and how it was layed out and the ease of instructions, overall quality is meets if not a bit more, works as good as you can imagine when prop is good, 40/20/17/10.... 80/60m no joy, 2m no joy, Thus my rating, its very difficult to load up 60/80m with what is provided and operate. 2M was a dismal failure although I did find 3 sets of radials of which the set that is mostly associated with 2m radials was for the mini tripod which surprisingly was excluded from this kit. As I said nothing with 80/60. I did build additional radials for 10-40m and QSL rate on FT8 went to 200 in a 24/hr period., again only on 40/30/20/17 and limited 10m. Why no additional radials are included in this compromised loaded 1/4 wave antenna leaves the kit as ordered dry as a 1/4 wave vertical can get. My advice, if you like what you see and understand 1/4 wave verticals go out and buy the components to build all the radials you really need. The tripod gets harsh reviews however if you know how to work one it will suite you fine. Quality 4, performance 4, kit 4, I ding it on the HF radial side and 80/60m ops... maybe I got a bad 2m coil, no joy,,,,lots to work with here.... if you get it all sorted out and functional I would go with a 4.5-5 rating My overall 3.5 to 4.0 only because of 80/60/2m and the lack of a good radial set. If your a portable operator this skinnies down to nil for weight and packing and will get the job done. As tested with 100ft of RG8X/FT991a/30A PS, all FTx mode, covered Europe and most of the US and parts of Canada. Expensive, a real price range would be under $500
